Thanks! This is now the 30th autumn that I've lived in the coastal plain of eastern NC, and I don't believe I've ever seen any significant leaf color changes this early in the fall.

It's generally a different story in the western part of NC, where the elevation brings fall about a month earlier than here. I was in Asheville last Nov 5th and took this quad copter flight:

It's colder here earlier than usual, too. There's a cold front invading us from Canada.

Excellent idea with the BBB. State legislation was no help when I was trying to get the POD here. My brain is failing me at the moment as to why.

BBB can do nothing to help. Sounds like the bank simplt reversed the charges h gave you all your money back. That leaves it up to you to work out a $ figure with PODS on your own. I thought they had made an offer but you wanted more? What happened after that?

I did file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau this morning. Tedious as can be. I think the reason it became a worthless entity is because it was overused and abused with anyone wanting to get even with a business. Now they have to be more selective in how they can help.

Hey I get my hearing aids finally today. I'm really not impressed with this PCP I have at the VA. She really doesn't know anything and gives this impression that she thinks she is Gods gift to the medical community. She said she knows all about my gastric bypass which I doubt, very few really do. But she was and internist before she came there. so I did the unimaginable and googled her and when she was in the private sector in some really out of the way places she got nothing but bad reviews. Like 1.5 stars out of 5. She has no sense of humor and very aloof. She prescribed me an anti biotic I've never heard of before called Cefdinir anyone take these before? I just took my first one.

Ivd google that med & talk to a pharmacist about it.

Please keep us posted on how things work out with the BBB. I know so little about them that I didn't know they did any kind of post-purchase advocacy on behalf of consumers. I thought they were strictly a report compiling outfit that people consulted ahead of time to determine whether or not to do business with a company.

That's all they do. I've not known them to be useful. You can get more info from reviews online. They do no advocacy, but will keep a record of your complaint & that's it. They are useless nowdays.

Yeah before I got them I tried and tried to figure out what it meant they were called MFi HA. The gal that takes care of my hearing at the VA told me. Pretty complex. Made For iPhone. Hmm.

They initially made an offer of $700. I refused and started the dispute process. Before they knew I did that they upped thier offer to $1,000. I never responded before I had started the dispute process. I did consult with the bank and explain that they offered 1k. The bank was pretty non commital but did say they thought they could win the dispute so I just went forward. Had no idea the company could find other ways to get the money. Def a learning lesson

They won't get a penny out of you until the dispute process is finished. And tell the collectors that. Simple.

Sheesh I didn't realize how bad I'm getting walking distances. Went to WalMart to see about a 12v aircompressor. It was in the furthest corner of the store probably about a football field and a half from the door. Even with a cart to lean on I didn't think I was going to make it. Ginny said why didn't you get one of those electric cart, Duh I didn't think of it, never used one. I'm going in Dec 8th and they are going to hopefully ok my power chair and send it in for new batteries and get me a lift for my car. I can see it coming not being able to get anywhere on foot that is very far. It sucks. I hate those carts they provide at least when others are on them,take up a lot of space go slow. My chair would be much better, will go 11mph. This is my chair only has about a mile on it but it is 9 years old.

I see no reason for them to get me a new one.

I really need one. But not covered at all. You are right, not walking far is terrible. I'm hoping this medical stuff I'm working on will take care of all that.

Yep I'm glad now that Ginny made me get one while I was still on the Railroad insurance. It was 6K even then, they paid for it all.
