Yeah I don't like her at all. This is the one at the VA but Chaudry is the civilian oncologist as far as a lung doctor the ones they sent me to last time didn't even see that I had 4 broken ribs on my xray. So I'm not all that confident. Cardio Thoracic surgeon would have to be the one who operated on my chest or someone that my civilian cardiologist recommends. I don't feel very good about this probably won't sleep tonight.

Well things are not looking good for me now. I'm scared
Results as follows:

" 1. Continued interval increase in size of the left lower lobe
pulmonary nodule, now measuring 1.4 cm in maximum transverse
diameter. This is associated with an endoluminal filling defect
seen within a more medial subsegmental bronchus.

Several other irregular nodular densities in the lateral basilar
portion of the lingula appear similar to slightly smaller.

These findings are worrisome for malignancy. Percutaneous tissue
sampling would be extremely challenging (high risk) given the
cardiac and pulmonary risk factors.

As such, Cardiothoracic surgical consultation is recommended. "

I'm so sorry, Legs. That sounds pretty scary. All you can do is take one day at a time.

You will be in my thoughts. Hopefully the doctor's can perform some of their modern magic. It's amazing how much better they get every year.

So, when do you see the doctor next to have it checked out?

Oh, no! Can you use the doctor you prefer?

I can't believe they didn't call me. I was home all day. I didn't check my email till just now. Shouldn't have done that I guess
Sometimes I prefer written communication, that I can read, digest, re-read, and understand, rather than words that linger hardly at all. Especially when there is a lot of emotion associated with it.

{{{{Patrick}}}} I don't understand what this means, but do know that you should follow through with the other docs sooner rather than later. Sometimes things sound worse than they are. The coughing up blood is worrying me though and maybe the consultation will shed some light on what's going on and what can be done about it. Kenna is right. One day at a time. Continuing my prayers for you!

Well thanks all. I'm hoping I see Chaudry on Monday or Tuesday. He is the civilian oncologist and will put this in perspective. The main thing I can get out of it is the nodule on the left has grown from 11mm which is 1.1cm to 1.4 cm so not that much COPD is progressing kind of quickly, what they are saying is a biopsy is risky because of my heart condition. At least thats what I get.
Hearts and Lungs are overrated anyway. They scared me like this before and went to see Chaudry and he said he would just follow up in about 3 months thats what this was.
I had a good run anyway. I'm 6 years older then Tom Petty. I just don't want a slow painful death, thats the one thing I've prayed for. I just want to go to sleep. Now that Chaudry will get paid by the VA he will look further into it.
Back in the 60's and 70's I was bullet proof or so I thought. Drugs Sex and RocknRoll. You can take 3 of those I can take 4. Paying for it now.
My O2 levels are still good but I had a feeling when I coughed up all that blood something wasn't right.
If it gets really bad maybe I'll just be able to go to sleep and keep sleeping. I have seen people with lung cancer and not a pretty way to go but have my iPhone now. I'm going to try not to get too excited till I see a civilian specialist. This is one thing I hate about this Dr.Cole, she is cold, aloof no sense of humor or empathy. She is a know it all, she went to a seminar on opioids and now has a huge rack of pamphlets about how bad they are and dangerous. Hell I've been on them for over 10 years and haven't OD'd yet. Course I don't take more then what is prescribed.
Talked to an old friend yesterday and he was telling me they have cut him way down on them and it isn't enought but he fessed up to me and he is injecting his oxy's so that is why they don't last. I couldn't believe it, he told me he stopped doing that quite a while ago but came clean yesterday. He's 68 years old. I don't know how he gets away with doing that still. This was before I read my email.
When you put this in some perspective the nodule was 11mm which as I understand it is 1.1cm it is now 1.4 cm so that is tiny. We know what 2.5cm is from wrapping coils and it ain't much. Dr.Cole like I said jumps to conclusions and thinks she is a wonderful internist, if she was she would be in private practice but couldn't make it there cause no one liked her so now she has a captive clientel at the VA. The radiologist is a lot smarter then her and I believe what he said about this. I was told that he was in the top of his class in medical school and just missed getting a job at Inland Imaging by 1 person but he wanted to stay in Spokane so took the job at the VA. He could've gotten a lot better job in Seattle but wanted to stay here. So I believe what he said about the CT he reads those and the PET scans the xray was read by another radiologist. I will have to wait and see what Chaudry says. I am pretty sure he knows his stuff about these sort of things. I put 0 faith in anything Cole says. I knew I had COPD or emphazima. I'm just going to have to wait and see what outside docs say.

They won't get a penny out of you until the dispute process is finished. And tell the collectors that. Simple.
Yes I thought that was the way things were supposed to go. I will tell them that. Thanks

So this is just over 1k? Or did you give them nothing?

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
I paid them (actually they charged my card as they said they would) the whole amount. 3,400. I did a dispute with credit card company for $2,800 and got it refunded to me while it gets settled. The offer of 1K was their offer of final settlement costs, that they would refund it to me, before they know I disputed. By the time they offered that I had already began the dispute but they did not know. I initially wanted them to cut the charges in half, refund me $1,700.
For the delay of stuff and damages.
