Well I heard from my doctor friend and he told me that he thought I would be fine getting a biopsy and in worst case scenariio it is small and could be removed with 3 small incisions. So that's sort of better. I'm glad I wrote to him last night. It's always nice to have a doctor surgeon friend who is honest about things. He also thinks I beat myself up too much on my weight and I'm doing fine. I'm holding steady at 138. Just keep doing what I'm doing. I just wish he would have stayed here in Spokane. We have become friends over the years, if only through the miracle of internet. I would have definately kept him for my doctor here. I think I told you he is working as an ER doc 10 days a month in Norfolk, VA. He said he likes that type of work but he always answers my calls. I called him one day, I have his cell number and he seemed a little distracted talking to others and he said he would call me back. When he did he apologized but he was working on a younger guy with a gunshot wound. I guess he likes that sort of thing and it happens a lot in Norfolk, but it's a hell of a commute from Rapid City S.Dak to VA every month.

Well as usual Lee made me feel better. I like talking to him. He is a wealth of knowledge. I think he is sort of an adrenalin junkie. One day I went to see him after he had amputated my legs and he had hurt his back out riding his dirt bike. He still was able to pick me up out of my wheelchair and put me on the scale to see how much weight I had gained and placed me back into my chair.

Wait are our coils 3mm or 3cm? Now that I think of it I think they are 3mm so 1.4cm is bigger then I thought. So that makes it a little over 1/2" guess that must be big on your lungs didn't think it was but IDK and I'm not goiing to google it.

1 cm is 10mm

Sometimes I prefer written communication, that I can read, digest, re-read, and understand, rather than words that linger hardly at all. Especially when there is a lot of emotion associated with it.
DH and I record the conversation with our doc on my iphone if it's about something serious.

Well I'm glad I have Dr.Trotter to talk to about things. I found out he is working 10 day a month as a Trauma Surgeon at Childrens Hospital of our Kings Daughters in Norfolk, VA. I thanked him for making me feel better about this whole thing and he sent me an email which I feel could be helpful to everyone. It makes a lot of sense. What a wonderful doctor and person he is. Here it is cause I think it may be helpful to others

You’re welcome, you have been through much in your life. You are a strong, positive individual.

Wouldn’t it be nice if one of us had a crystal ball and could see into the future. Of the little I know, God is real and watches over us. If we are faithful and do our part, we will find comfort in our given circumstance. We will never be given a challenge greater than we can bare. We have the power within us to choose how we feel. I choose love, happiness and hope. Hope that God will take me by the hand to guide and comfort me on my personal journey. You can feel the same – it’s a matter of choice.

Don’t let any doctor, or other individual for that matter, rain on your parade.

LTrotter

Ain't no stranger than anyone else around here, but welcome back. Are you going to bring us up to date? It's been awhile, you know.
Well, I am still alive, the wife is all better and home looking for work. I have been promoted to assistant manager at my patio furniture store, still dodging the dark rider, doggies are good, the mini dachshund got savaged by a big dog, but is doing well.
Eldest son got his eagle scout the other day. My dad has about 6 months left, but then I was given 5 years, that was 7 years ago so who knows.
Got a birthday in a few days, will be 46, feel like 66.
Hopefully I'll have the will to stick around this time.
Kind hard sometimes to socialize, even electronically.

I know whatcha mean. I take spells of babbling. Other times, you can't pry a word out of my mouth with a crowbar.
It is good to see both of you. I know what you mean, this forum is the limit of my socializing. I have a couple PS4 games I play to beat the boredom. I hope to see ya'll around.

HI Russ ... nice to see some positives in your post to help offset the 'others'. Congrats to your son, that's quite an achievement getting his Eagle badge. I'm sure you had some involvement there too ... most parent's of Eagle Scouts are part of the journey too.
