If you say so. Eager for my nap at 1:00. This flare-up of sciatica is getting better, but still discouraging. I got a warning from a friend last night that our kind of sciatica, left untreated, could have some serious complications.

Ugh! I had a problem with that right after our son was born and it's awful. That's what got me started with chiropractic and I've been going ever since. I hope you find what works for you to get some relief.

Gabapentin, TENS, a nap every afternoon, acetaminophen, tumeric, walking-stick, chiro, self-massage of my back (chiro told me how), and today I go to the city to get a brace for my right ankle.

Sure hope that pain subsides quickly......your regimen seems to cover it all.
I use Schwartz Tumeric/Curcumin for bowling cause my thumb is affected. Have osteoarthritis, but as long as I keep active, it seems to keep it under control. Have floor exercises in addition to my resistance training (when I do it)and they help too along with stretching.
I use Schwartz tumeric/curcumin, but my friend uses Terry Naturally and swears by it, but the price is prohibitive.

Duck tape ... you forgot to list the duck tape ... it fixes anything.

Actually, I might try it with some of my shoes that won't accommodate the brace. So far, so good. He is happy with my black lace-up boots, which convinced me to get a brace before summer. But I may not be able to adapt my mid-calf boots which do not provide the ankle support I need. I stopped at Wal-mart, and got some ten dollar athletic shoes (I am between sizes, 8 1/2 or nine, these are 9 1/2)for a beginning. My back is feeling much better already. Trying to figure out how much I need to pad my left shoe to compensate.

I need to borrow a hair-dryer so that I can get my crocs to accommodate it easier.

Yes, I haven't been doing my PT assignments. So much of it was meant to convince me that the nerves were not going to recover. Like balancing on my right foot. FAIL!! Falls are a danger. Now I will be able to work up to walking to the library, easily.

Hope you have a great day!!
Thanks Deb. Is anyone watching the Dow today lost 1000 points. Wow second worst day in history. Wonder if Trump will take credit for this as fast as he did the gains.

Hey! Where's our birthday boy??? @2legsshrt where are you? You're supposed to share your birthday cake with us you know!
I'm still here Janet. Been trying to change my diet and eating at the right times. Have been eating dinner between 8&9 which is way to late when you have problems like me. So I'm eating around 5 or 6. Get my new meds today finally. Hope they help. I almost had to stop vaping completely it was making my chest hurt so bad. Now I am just using stuff about 1mg nic and .5% flavor. So mostly VG and PG. My chest stopped hurting now. Was bad for about 5 days. Heard from all my kids and grandkids yesterday.

Been trying to figure a way so Ginny could go to Texas is June. We don't really have any friends here and no family. Don't know what to do about the dog. We were thinking of taking the motorhome over to her moms and I could stay there. I'm kind of afraid to be left here alone. IDK. Would like to go but the dog thing is a PIA. Don't know if she had a tranq if she would be ok in one of those crates or not. SW air lets you take dogs if they fit under the seat. I wonder if suspended animation is a possibility.

Not sure I understand. Thanks for everyone. Heard about your sciatica. Hope you feel better soon.

I'm really wondering what is going to happen next in the good old US of A.

I heard of something called Kraton, don't know if it works or not but you might look it up on the web.

Would she fit in one of the soft sided pet carriers that are the size of a carry on? I've seen people fly with those. Maybe talk to your vet to see if there's a mild sedative, not for her to sleep, but to keep her calm and try the carrier. Her personality would have to be mellow though. Can you take her with you to Ginny's mother's? Or bring Ginny's mother to your house?

Talked to GaryOa. He feels the same as I do about our once great nation, If you want to see some really good videos make friends with him on FB and go to his page. Some are really informative and some ar hilarious (the animal ones). He's doin good. I don't know how to get them off of FB to show you. But believe me, me and Gin really laughed at the cat having a nightmare of riding his bike and crashing and the singing dog playing the piano.

No her mom is 90 and can't be here we have stairs. She is not calm but was thinking if she had tranqs she might be. If you go SWA you can get a 5 hour flight with connection in Phoenix. No straight thru to El Paso. Don't know how her moms Ahole caregiver would feel about it, Ginnys brother. He thinks that his place now, which of course its not
