5th Vaperversary dinner. Long Island boneless duck breast cooked in a Spanish red wine, with coarsely ground black pepper, minced garlic, a pinch of saffron threads and some dried juniper berries. I done good.

In NC, Scott Mason does a very skilled and entertaining continuing series called The Tar Heel Traveler. If you've got nothing better to do, these food editions of the The Tar Heel Traveler are interesting and well done. The first is from 2015 and the second is from 2016. I don't think I've been to any of the establishments in either of the videos, except MAYBE the Lexington BBQ.... not at all sure whether I've been there or not.

We are slightly warmer than our normal for February. Normals are 70s/50s and we are at 80/60 .

I'm planting my tomato plants and eggplants outside today
