Daughter has said she will take me to turn in the box I have for the analog TV and exchange it for what I will need for this one....of course, she hasn't said yet when she will take me... Soon, I hope.
When you plug an HDMI cable into a monitor, you might need to change the input on the monitor to HDMI, or else the monitor will keep trying to display the input that it was previously set to display. You may well know this already.... just checking.LOL....I thought abut that...
I have no clue what content you intend to view but just hope that you don't buy anything that you don't need. For instance, you can "cast" Amazon Prime content to any Smart TV from your computer or tablet, without needing additional equipment. You can do the same with YouTube, or with any videos you have saved on your computer.Will do...
I'm not one of those who has cut the cable...
I only have the basic line up of channels, no HBO, etc. and it costs me less per month than Sling and some others. If the HDMI port on the PC works, I can use it like a huge monitor and stream any of my channels live, or use 'on demand', without needing anything else.....that's what I do with the monitor I have now, but....if not, I will have to get the cable box from Comcast, and I'm certain it will cost me more to rent than the one I have for the analog...

Yea, I forgot about the Washington commercial. With Geico - nothing is off limits or sacred. The first president of the US or an endangered species - yep nothing is off limits...
I like this Progressive insurance commercial. (I do NOT like ANY of their commercials with "The Box".)
It occurred to me that it had been a really long time since we'd heard from Von Vape, so I sent him an email.
He responded and asked me to pass along a howdy to everybody on the Porches. He says that he and wife (both are vapers) are doing, in his words, "OK but not GREAT, ha ha". He also says their weather in Alaska has been a crazy roller coaster all winter long.

Good morning ... we’re at my son’s house for the day watching baby Beckett. He was sick the last few days. He is fever free this morning ... but can’t return to day yet ... so we get to spend the day with him.
