My laundry theory: put everything in together; dry everything together; fold or hang all articles (except socks and underwear - see below); toss articles that are unwearable after this treatment. (Oh, and buy only one kind of socks; toss them loose in a drawer; any two will be a pair. You can even toss them into the underwear drawer; distinguishing between a sock and a pair of undershorts isn't rocket science.)

Wow it got down to 25 last night. Getting pretty cool. Ginnys Birthday is the 15th. Need to get her something good. I don't know if I want to put us into a little more debt and get her a portable oxygen generator but I don't know if she would use it enough to make it worth the $3K
Get it. SHE'S worth it.

After watching all 8 seasons of That 70s Show I was really jonesing for a new jones. Fortunately, my brother's been telling me how great Better Call Saul is. Now, in the middle of the 4th episode of season 1, this musical gem comes wafting to me ears. So of course I had to find it on YouTube. What an awesome instrumental treat!

Who got US Mail today? Are you sure? It's Columbus Day, a Federal holiday, so the PO is closed. UPS is open and some FedEx functions are in effect. Now you tell me.

Thanks to watching That 70s Show, I realized a couple of days ago that I know who the actress is in the Jim Beam ads.

New Hope ... as in New Hope, PA? Spent a lot of time there in my younger years when we lived in Bucks County.

YEP - The one & only that I know so well . . .

Was going there since HS to hangout there and see the "Drag" shows at the Prelude/Chartweel (which burned down a few years ago) on the weekends - well over 40 years ago. . . Matter of fact, not only did "My" Sister (who just died this past June) & BIL have a home in Lambertville for over 20 years - then moved to Frenchtown (right on the river) for another 20, I live (both in Lambertville/New Hope) & worked there a few years and still have a few friends that I was visiting there every 5 weeks, since I moved to Florida and was traveling back & forth to Philadelphia/NYC too . . . Anyway, think that is more then enough reminiscing for now . . . ;)

Aah.......New Hope! When living in Philly, there many a time we would visit and it still lives fondly in my memories.

Michael seems to be threatening the Panhandle and points West.....daughter and sil used to live in Tampa before they moved here about a year ago to stay with us.......they have since moved about 10 minutes away, and glad they are on the East Coast now, close to Mama & Papa.
We've been getting intermittent heavy rains and gusts of winds and then quiet....really really quiet.....a bit ominous.

@Iffy Been watching Tropical Tidbits and I do agree, it is THE BEST weather predictor. I love his videos and his no nonsense approach!

It is so interesting that so many of "Us" have crossed paths one way or another . . . ;)
(Personally, I lived in a number of places throughout NJ, NY, PA & now FL . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;) )

I have many memories of Philly too (' 90's - '02 with 1 Year in Harrisburg in between) . . .
(Matter of fact, graduated Temple undergrad '97 / master's '98 at the age of 44)

New Hope, PA, a place I frequented many times. I grew up in Central NJ and in the late 1970s I lived in Piscataway, North Brunswick and Highland Park, from where the day trips to New Hope would originate. I hardly had enough money to put gas in the tank to make the trip, let alone get anything while I was there, but enjoyed travelling there with similarly indigent roommates and friends.
