My youngest son lives in Vidor, TX just off I-10. My grandson posted there was flooding but I haven't heard from my son. Time for a few phone calls and start the prayer chain at least.

Good morning, Loungers!
I sometimes take a nap in the afternoons, but yesterday was the kicker! Just laid down to rest my eyes about 11enish am, and didn't wake up till 11:30 pm last night....Literally turned day into night.....don't know why that happened and wonder if my body was fighting something, but feel bright and chipper this morning.......even if I feel a bit drowsy this afternoon, I will NOT take a nap!
Wow, you must have really needed the rest! Yep, sounds like you were probably fighting something off to sleep that much. Surprised you got back to sleep that night. Wish I could do that, but 6 hours is about as long as I can be in bed before my back really starts to protest. As long as you're feeling chipper now though it sounds like you beat whatever was trying to take you down.
