Nuttin' like a handmade coop!
With all that is happening with our vaping these days, I became nostalgic and was remembering the old days!

Yes - Many, who have either moved on or the thread where we meet "Died" and they no longer are in the Threads I post in . . . Thankfully, ECF Friends like "You" are still around . . .
FYI: I think "Raven" is still on FB (also her daughter is on FB) and she will post there sometimes - I no longer have a FB Account - so I am not really sure . . . And - "Steel Jan", although it is not e-cig related, posted a You tube video not to long ago:

Steel Jan still has her channel, evidently! This is a good thing!
If & When Ya' do - SInce I no longer do FB or have an account there - Please let her know that there are a lot of people who miss her and her words of Humour & Wisdom around here . . . MOre importantly, "We" would really "like" to see her post every now and again . . . AND - Especially, that I send "My" Love and she can contact me anytime that she gets a chance/has a moment (she should still have my personal info) . . . Thanks . . .
I most certainly will! We had contact a few years back, and saw all her art work.....she is most talented. OK...or not OK.......
Yesterday hubby went to our grandson's first softball game of the season, and I asked him to stop at the vape shop I used to visit in St. Augustine on 16W.
The entire store front is labeled JUUL! I was so disheartened and became angry that it had happened so quickly.
Then, again, today, after Mass, I stopped by European Village to see our local vape shop gone.....totally gone! Instead there was a 'grand opening' sign for some other business that I'm sure will prosper.
This really brought things into their ugly perspective.......feeling the anger welling within me, and now I'm here venting to the only folks (ECF) who will understand....well, except for my husband & family who have been totally supportive of me these 10+ years.
I need some strong Hazelnut java!!!

YES - She is very talented Artist . . . Matter of fact, I was extreamly lucky to have been gifted the "Back Porch Visitor" (how appropriate given this thread) a few years ago by "Rave" (it sits in front of me and brings "Me" joy every day I see it . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Beautiful work!! What medium does she work in? Oils?
Don't know if her favorite was oils or acrylics. She had to quit painting quite a number of years ago due to MS. Had tried to return to it maybe six months ago. I sent her a message earlier today.
No & Yes . . . I believe most of her work is acrylics . . . Also, if I remember correctly she has dappled in oils too . . . She has done wood working and other crafts, especially for her collection of E-cig paraphernalia She also has/had Jewelry for sale on Etsy ( I used to have a link to -that I will have to search for or maybe @3mg Meniere might know ) . . . BTW: She used to travel across the USA to do Artist Shows, including the annual one in New Hope Pa (One of the places I used to live) . . . You might be able to check out her FB for more info . . .

Hello There My Dear Friend!! You are too kind! I'm still around, but not so much here.
Thank you!! The piece that Uncle showed was done in watercolors. But, I transitioned over to oils exclusively.
Thank you for sending me the link here! I didn't know if anyone that I once knew here was still around. Yeah - I was able to do a painting for the first time in ten years awhile back. Then I started another and have had trouble finding the time to work on it. For someone who is retired, I work harder than I've ever worked in my life. Been putting in about 12 hours a day lately. Craziness ...

Just oils now, Uncle. Can't make the jewelry anymore because I don't have full use of my hands anymore. Opposing thumbs are rather important, I've found. Yeah - I used to go to about 25 wildlife art shows all over the country. Kinda miss the traveling. You probably had my old email address - which got hacked. I was the victim of identity theft
and shut that email down. I'll PM you my new email address. - Status
