Plus my DH turns 70 next year and I'd like us to have time to enjoy together. He had a triple by-pass a year ago (the day before Thanksgiving). It makes you re-evaluate what's important.
Yes, it does. Time to enjoy life.

I just haven't been able to get into it this time. I've thought about buying a few things, especially nic. But, I just can't make myself do it. My heart just isn't in it, not this time. I think I wore out my stocking up enthusiasm a few years ago.

Likewise, and being already set with what I want and like for expected needs, haven't jumped on anything much. Nic level is even fine, so not even that.

LOL - that's total days, 4 years. Full retirement age is actually a little less and I'd like to retire sooner. I'm working now to keep building the savings account and for very good health ins benefits. My current job is high stress and doesn't pay what former ones did. I'm ready to say enough. I have to make sure the numbers ($) work to do that.

Yes, the years fly by - Aug 2020 is our 30th anniversary. How'd that happen? I know we're newlyweds compared to some, but 30 seems like a different milestone than the 25th which is supposed to be a biggie. Funny how some things hit you. Plus my DH turns 70 next year and I'd like us to have time to enjoy together. He had a triple by-pass a year ago (the day before Thanksgiving). It makes you re-evaluate what's important.

Yes it certainly does. None of us knows what tomorrow will bring even with the best laid plans.

Well if it gets dark any sooner .. it may not be worth getting out of bed in the morning. :D

Let's be honest, sometimes it doesn't need to get any darker, especially to stay in bed all day (well except those times Ya' really NEED to  ) . . .

So, I guess I'll just hang out for the rest of the day! :);)

 I'm with Ya' on that . . . The only thing I NEED right now is Dinner, "My" Recliner & TV . . .
