Ah yes, memories. In my early youth, my family would have been classified lower middle working class. Therefore in those years, my birthday gift was normally something homemade by Mom (quite da seamstress/knitter). In my early teens our $ituation had improved. So I would receive a purchased gift; not expensive and only one. It was 'understood' that money didn't grow on tree$.
Always had my favorite yellow pecan cake, with butter icing and covered with half pecans, that Mom made with Love!
Speakin' of memories, once my Dad's '49 Mercury burnt out the points contacts. He didn't have da three quarters to buy new. So he drilled out da ol' contacts and used brass rivets instead.Worked 'til he traded da Merc.
'Member when there were no credits cards, stores offered lay-aways and trading stamps? Back when da air was clean and sex was dirty!

After spending a week sorting my stash and getting everything organized. I have several items that seem to be in good or new condition I will never use.

68 days till Spring! Mother Nature is teasing me - it's 62 degrees outside this morning. I'll enjoy it for now because I know the cold and snows are still to come.
Rain for the last two days, temps still over freezing, but due to change. As in, uh, this afternoon??
Hi everyone. I don’t know if anyone remembers me, but I thought I’d say hi. I haven’t been around in about 4 or 5 years (and smoking cigs like crazy), and I’m feeling kind of lost. I want to start vaping and everything looks so foreign to me. Where do I start now? Help me please!
I do think I remember you! Welcome back! We're still here for you. A lot of improvements have come down the pike in the past few years. What devices were you using before? You're smart to get back to it now because of the deeming due in May. You'll have time to gather supplies.
