I test ed your theory with walking around the building twice and no significant problem. Going up steps is the problem.
Yes. Stairs are difficult after major surgery. Have no clue why. Do you have something you can use as a low platform to do a step up/step down exercise on? Maybe a couple of hardback books on the floor? Do a step up h then step down on the other side. Turn around & do it again, then switch feet to step up & down. I did that after my 1st surgery when I got home after a month in rehab. I couldn't walk at all after the month in the hospital. I had to start with sitting in a chair & just moving my feet & doing knee lifts. 5 of each exercise was an accomplishment. They let me go home when I could walk 700 feet with a cane & climb stairs. After got home I substituted curbs & stacks of books for stairs. It really helped.

FYI: Info about up coming sales . . .

@Janet H . . .

Ya' may want to check out the sales flyers here, especilly Home Depot (Front cover & pg 23-25) and JC Penny's (a lot of rebates there) . . . Matter of fact, a number of places are having big discounts on appliance that include Washer/Dryer starting tonight . . . Also Ya' may get a really sweet deal at Sears since they are closing up (IMHO- Think Kenmore's are still good) . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

Once again - Hope this info might help Ya' . . . ;)
Sears closing will make repairs & warrenty work iffy after a few years. Sears has had a long fall & it's because of customer service. I hated working for them & was very disappointed because they were supposed to be so great. It was a shock to experience how the company treated employees & customers. I can't figure out why they are still around.

Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving. We were hoping to but now have all this crap hanging over our heads. First thing after the MRI is go in and have some little gold pins placed around the spot on her liver so the Cyberknife can find the spot. Hoping the brain is still clear or it even gets worse then what we are facing. Instead of 10 mild doses of radiation higher doses targeted.
It's going to wipe out that cancer!

Not sure if you mean me not having it but it isn't good news that she has to go thru all this now. The radiation to the brain scares me some, but it's better then the alternative. I really feel bad for her. I know she's scared too but tries not to show it. Hell who wouldn't be you know.

The cancer spots have disappeared except for what's on the liver so that's a positive thing right? The radiation to the brain is preventative, not because she has spots there so that's positive too. You've had great results with the cyber knife so be optimistic that it will also work for Ginny. Anybody would be scared, but it's not all bad news. Hold onto the little victories so you don't miss out on any enjoyment together.
