Well this show is about a lot more then what I thought. I think Ep 3 or 4 is about a dog sanctuary in Costa Rico. It is really sad and amazing at once.
Ever since some heartless hunter killed Bambi's mother, I have not seen any animal movie except Lion King!

I'm jealous! It's probably playing somewhere around here. My problem is getting someone to go with me. I was about 12 when I saw it the first time at the old Fox Theater in Atlanta. Perfect atmosphere for that movie. It was originally an opera house. Gold & velvet everywhere. & big heavy drapes over the screen that had to be opened when it started. They had what must have been 3' gold fringe. I'll never forget the opening musice & those drapes being drawn open so slowly!

Well Gang (which seems to be dwindling cept for the old die hards) been home for 3 whole days and I feel so much better. I'm eating, getting the right protein, going on my own, got home health care coming on Sunday to assess me. All the ducks are lining up. We got about 7-8" of snow today supposed to dump more tomorrow Sunday no above freezing temps at least for the next 10 day and from the looks of it not in the foreseeable future. But the Groundhog said it would be over in 6 weeks right. Well heres hoping. i don't think we'll be going for anything soon. Next week cold then more snow starting Wed
So glad you're home! People get better faster when they're home and besides, you're not exposed to germs. It sure would be nice if the groundhog turned out to be right. Come on Spring!!

Yep it was cool when the theatres were like that. When we went to the big city which was not really big there were 2 theatres in town, each would have 2 movies to see, 1 after the other. Now you really don't go to the theaters and they have 21 different places in them. We did it as a special treat. Sometimes would go to the drive in with parents. Kids don't know what they are missing. I miss the way things used to be life was so much simpler. I don't even remember the last time I went to a movie. Everything is on TV now.
Dang my shoulder is killing me. I used it a little yesterday and pay for it today. The lady about PT is supposed to call today but so far nothing. I really need to get started loosening it up.
Hopefully she's called by now, but if you're getting the weather we are, I wouldn't expect her to show up any time soon!

As long as we don't need to go anywhere... car's just too small be be an effective plow to get out of the driveway! The first storm, last Monday, didn't hit us really hard, only about 3" or so, but enough to keep the trash collectors off the roads, so that's maybe going to be an issue - but at the temps we've been having, not a malodorous one, anyway! And the latest, Thurs-Fri, was sufficient to end mail delivery. Dang it, no junk mail!
Primary and secondary roads have pretty much been plowed, but of course we're on at best a tertiary, and more snow coming. Power has stayed on for us, but the generator is ready in case. Next one due in later today, and overnight. Then another for later in the week, with temps not going much over freezing until some time after then.
Other than the cats going stir crazy - nope, they don't like snow
- the biggest problem so far was a snow laden tree limb blocking the satellite, and direct snow load filling MIL's sat dish. Both easy to fix Good morning everyone. Yep Kenna Ginny won't let me make a move without her being there. I have to have her permission to pass gas. I sure do love her. Definitely my better half.
We lost our power yesterday at 4pm didn't get it back till 1am. It was definately getting cold. It was 8 degrees outside. It probably didn't get below 60+ in here but it was feeling cool.
