@2legsshrt I am thinking of you, I do have a friend in your area who works in a nursing home. She has lots of knowledge and resources. Let me know if it would help for me to reach out to her, she might know of some options for you.

I’m going to try to get them to let me go today but it probably won’t work. She has a meeting with Palliative Care today I have no input lor anything it didn’t even seem like her. I’m at a loss for words. I don’t know what is going to happen. I don’t think it’s right that I can’t be with into this time. She is slipping away.

Can you be on the phone with them when they have the meeting? Maybe someone from that meeting can contact your doc.

Patrick: None of us has the "reach" to help you out physicaly. Please know that we all are "holding you up on our shoulders" to help in some small way while you survive this terrible journey that each of us must take.

When you get the holders figured out please post pictures. I can always use accessories for fishing. I always have a couple of rods, reels, and a small tackle box in my jeep.

I use similar on the lawn trailer/dumper I tow, and put a cap on the bottom, so things don't fall through. 1/2" hole drilled in the cap for drainage.

Good for rakes and other straight handle tools.

Aha, 'nother PVC utilizer! PVC is ranked right up dere wid duct tape and Mom's spit in my book...

Am plannin' to make sum 2" PVC fishing rod/walking cane/umbrella holders for da back of da wooden benches down at 'my office' (local boat ramp).

Such useful material! We made food hoppers for our chicken food out of two 6" diameter lengths of PVC with elbows at the bottom. No more food spillage everywhere.

Another day in the life of little kids. Our daughter texted us last night that they took Hux (age 2) to the ER. He stuck a jellybean up his nose. A red one. He doesn't know how to blow his nose so with all his crying he sniffed it way up there. After waiting forever for the doc Hux seemed to be just fine. They decided he must have sucked it all the way up and swallowed it. I couldn't stop laughing and then the thought hit that he could have done this while we were babysitting him!!
