Sheesh, sorry I have such low tolerance for criticisms of the exposition of my actual life. I mean, I'm really really sorry that I can't see the humor but I'm perfectly capable of no longer posting my quad copter videos here. I'm thinking that would be for the best.

Then, you'll no longer have to worry about the fact that I'm so unreasonably incapable of differentiating between those comments which are humorous and those comments which are critical about these videos which are so personal to me. Since I regard them as personal, I should know better than to share them here until such time as I develop thicker skin.

I can't read the article without entering my date of birth, and I'm not willing to do that. I presume the article will soon be available somewhere that doesn't have that requirement.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is proposing regulations to describe the circumstances in which a product made or derived from tobacco that is intended for human consumption will be subject to regulation as a drug, device, or a combination product under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (the FD&C Act). This action is intended to provide direction to regulated industry and to help avoid consumer confusion.

No offense, but I was talking about a reaction to a video that I created and posted, not a reaction to a video that you posted. I've learned my lesson, and won't post any more of my quad copter videos here.

My health insurance co is just getting more & more creepy. It's time for the yearly health screening they hound us about. They called to remind me about it & want to send a Nurse Practitioner to my home to do it. They did this last year, too. I gave her the same answer I gave them last year. They are my insurance company. It is their job to pay the bills. Period. My health is private, & not their business. My Dr's & I are capable of managing any health concerns I might have. That is not the place of an insurance company, & since they are a government entity they are not welcome in my home. Ever.

I did. What I found indicates that there are a couple of university-based studies going on. FDA says that a manuafacturer would have to conduct clinical trials if they made a claim that the device was a smoking cessation aid, as it would then be considered a drug. I couldn't find anything that says FDA is reclassifying.

Side note: This is interesting. Is hypnosis a drug?
