I've been trying Temperature Control
vaping for about 2 years, off and on. It's been a lot more off than it's been on, due to the complexity of TC, but I'm a believer in the technology.
Today, for the past 6 hours, I'm having such a good experience with TC that for the first time, it's as good or better than any
vaping I've ever done in my 4+ years of
vaping. It's so good that even if the coil lasts less than a day, I'll make another, even though it takes me about half an hour to make, mount and wick a coil. The time can vary depending on whether or not I need a do-over, but I don't think I could make one in 10 minutes even if everything went perfectly.
Tank: Kanger SubTank Plus using the RBA head
Coil: 6 wraps of 26 gauge SS 304, 3 mm loops, resistance 0.45 - 0.53 ohms. I tried to space the coils a little but it's very close to being a contact coil.
Wick: organic cotton, the fattest strip I could squeeze through the coil.
Mod: YiHi SXMini Q Class with SS 304 setting, 20 Joules, 310 F temperature, 75 F (room temperature) temperature compensation.
A happy boy am I.
