Hello everyone.

I am a wife, mother and grandmother and yeps, I qualify for this thread. :) Actually, I just had my 60th birthday. Stopped worrying about the vanity thing a while back. lol Well, maybe not totally, but not ashamed of my age, but rather proud of all my years so far. LoL

I had my first cigarette when I was 19 and at my first job. It was not just a cool thing, it was something we did for stress relief on our breaks. :) At that time, there was not so much known about health risks as today and if I had any idea at all that cigarettes were so hard to put down.... I assure you I would never have picked one up. I am sure it is the same for almost anybody. I have quit smoking a couple of times. Once for 3 years and suddenly one day, I just had to have one. I remember driving to the store very excited about getting a pack of cigarettes. How weird is that? I have always enjoyed smoking until a few months ago I realized I could not breath very well.

Anyway, fast forward here I am. COPD and all that comes with it. When I discovered E-cigs, I was totally unprepared and delighted. I could have what I wanted and enjoyed and without ALL the negatives, carcinogens, dirty looks, being careful about smoking around my babies, being able to breathe is good. hahah Not to mention the awful smell of my hair and clothes and breath. Well, it IS a no brainer for me. Also, I never imagined there would be so many wonderful flavors. I have always smoked menthol, but now I am getting some really cool flavors and having a wonderful time. I use the blu premium 100 kit with an extra battery and I refill cartridges. I am having a blast with my NEW habit. rofl.
A really cool "side effect" is I have lost about 6 pounds and without trying too. I am so tickled with my sweets (coconuts, peaches and the like) that I don't really have a desire for snacks anymore.

take good care

p.s. not sure what all the drama was, but glad I missed it.

I luv those XLs in my tanks @ 3.8-4.2V. The eMDCC is great on my eGo batts. So, I guess I'm a dual coil fan!

It is totally subjective I think. I ordered half a dozen eMDCC. Filled 4 of them....and absolutely hated them. Tried to at least finish the juice I had put in them....but they were so horrible I threw them all away. Gave away an unused one...still have one in the box, but don't think I will get that desperate.

I gave up on attys and cartos. Killed the first in 1 to 2 days and was never able to get more the 3 to 4 days out of a carto without a huge degrading of draw and taste. Then I looked at tanks but at the time it was just a hassel to rebuild them and leaking was also normal. Then I have seen the rebuildable genisis and got me some. Am pretty happy with it. Just have to change the wick and or coil every now and then but it is pretty easy. Now it takes me about 10 min. Some report the can do it in 2 to 5 min. but hey I have nothing else to do hihi. Thats also why I can not comment on all the discussions about DC, tanks and whatnot.

I am sitting here vaping on me some StL Gooey Butter Cake from Vape-A-Licious. Oh my, it is some goooooood stuff. I was very pleasantly surprized when it showed up in my mail box today. All week-end usps tracking had it setting in CA.

I also got Caramel Cap and Snickerdoodle. Haven't tried them yet. I got all of them @ 18mg and 50pg/50vg w/extra flavor. I couldn't pass up the great sale they had going on. Sure am happy that I am a weakling when it comes to a good sale. Wonderful way to try out new flavors without breaking the bank.

Hi morri,

That's cool you've actually lost wait. I went the other way, since I got a morning appetite back (instead of chain smoking cigs w/ my morning coffee). I got hooked on waffle's and my wife's mix of cream cheese and maple syrup. I was doing that every morning for a couple-few months and whoops - my belt shrunk. I just broke the habit last week and I'm back to cereal and yogurt for breakfast.

Welcome to the group Morri, glad you joined us..

I tried to join the Navy just out of high school but because of some childhood health issues they said we will call if we need you but not right now..Never got that call..My father was sickly and didn't serve but my grand father was in the Navy in WW2.

Good afternoon all

So with VV you should use single coils? Doubles do seem to burn through juice quicker. Still trying to figure this stuff out.

I’’ve come to agree with folks who say DC’s are best with fix voltage batts in the 3.4-3.7 volt range. With a VV and a single coil you can just ‘up’ the volts to get a similar effect/vape.

Yes, I have tried them.

Here's my preferences:
Love - 1.25 dual coil
Like - 1.50 dual coil
Okay - 1.50 dual coil GO GO clearomizer thing
Meh - 2.0 Boge
Nope - 1.7
Feh - 3.0 Boge
Yuk - Anything by Ikenvape

:mad::blush::2cool:

Curious to know which IKV carto's you've tried and didn't like. I drip/vape 90% of my time with an IKV I06 atty and think they are great (good flavor, good vape, don't flood or leak easily, last a long time). I've only used his 510 3.0ohm XL carto and while it was good, I didn't notice any significantly better than other good carto's like a Boge.

I've heard a lot of good recommendations for the the IKV Fusion and when IKV gets back on-line I want to order some of those.

Nice to know you use a Genisis. I'm patiently waiting to get a couple G-Tank-US rebuildables from the Scubabatdan co-op. Now I know where to go w/ my questions about re-buildables.

I think you will love it once you have it. I waited very long for mine in our coop but after using it the first time I just knew it was all worth it. We had the same problems with the cnc (or what they are called) shop.
I just feel real sorry for Uwe (our coop) and Dan. Those guys do a great job and then have to sit and wait for others to do job right. I am so HAPPY that guys like Dan and Uwe and all the other unnamed in those coops are around for us.
The taste is so clean with my ss wick I will never go back to a cartomiser.

I LOVE Ikenvape's attys. Since I don't like single coils, that's probably why I don't like his cartos. I've tried several.

Ditto mattiem, I haven't received mine yet. Initially I didn't care for Caramel Cap but after 10 days of steeping, it turned out pretty yummy! I love the Cola and have order about it many times. Another good one is AG's Dream. This time I am trying the Holiday Cider and Samoa Cookie Pie. Did you get xtra flavor?

I posted minutes ago but cannot find my post, not sure if I did it right and trying again, hope it is not a repost (sorry). I am 67 years old, female - I really want to stick with ecigarettes but having a problem - have tried a few and always go back to DSE801 ecigs because they are easy, but they are just not what I want. Have tried ego and a couple of others but just can't get the hang of the cartos and filling and dual cartos, just get confused. I guess I want something like the DSE801 penstyle with the refillable carts, but better than the DSE801. Almost ready to go back to real cigarettes and hate that I might. Can someone help me with a post about something like, but better than the DSE801 that I can easily use? Appreciate any help and thank you, Darlene

Hey Darlene Welcome! You are from my neck of the woods. Last I heard my hubby's company is transferring us to Fresno in June or July. Nice to see someone from northern Cali in here.

Sorry to hear you are experiencing problems with ecigs. Cartos and tanks are all I use and find it's much easier to use a syringe to prime the carto first.

I can't help with the DSE801 since all I use are eGo Ts, JoyeGo Mod Tube and a Lavatube (that I'm gonna chuck in the trash.) However many of the members here are great leading you down the right path and explaining things.

Please don't give up, it does become easier! Welcome
