For those that got the kayfun conversion kit, were you just messaged in the forums about where to send payment?
I wouldn't buy a Tobaco unless I was going to use the Kayfun conversion kit on it, and it won't work unless you have the parts to run it in long mode. The one on Fasttech seems only have one tank section.
I thought the ceramic was desirable?
I see an Itkaka or it's clone in your futureIt is interesting that the Oddy and Kayfun look to me to be just different paths from the original iAtty design. I have read that people say the flavor of a Kayfun style device is superior (like the iAtty) to that of the Oddy style. I will find out for myself shortly. In the end, it is the taste that matters to me.
If I can have a device whose flavor rivals my genies and has the portability of the Oddy, then I will be a very happy vaper.
The ceramic has little to do with the vape experience. It acts as a thermal and electrical insulator for the coil and leads. The Kayfun design does away with the need for NR-R-NR joining. It also has a tiny fire chamber with the air supply directly under the coil. The result effect is condensed flavor and a much easier setup. Setting up the coil is identical to that of an RDA.

Interesting. I wouldve imagined that the ceramic cup would hold and concentrate the heat better.
Also, is the air supply in an Oddy from below as well?
Unless you can get all the wraps over the air hole on the Kayfun ,which is possible, the wraps that are not "in the air stream" spit little balls of juice up the chimney. This very well could be where all the flavor is coming from.
I realize this isn't what folks what to hear but it is what it is.
Interesting. I have been working on the theory that more vapor equals more flavor. Ergo the genies going through a lot of juice. But juice spit balls... hmm...
