I would just pick out a pack or two of these to get started... Ready Wire for Coils- NEW LR I HATE wrapping NR / R wire, and didn't want to spend $50-70.00 on a wire zapper.. They work great for me.. ;) Lot's of different ohms starting at 1.2 and up.. :)

50 coils for $9.00 ain't bad IMHO...
I agree! That is a great deal. Didn't realize someone offered this. Thank you for the reply. May I ask, what ohm do you normally use yourself? My tanks I prefer Dual Coil 1.5-1.8ohm and my drippers I run about .6ohm. So anything close to that in comparison would be awesome.

I've been using 30awg nickel, as I read larger would cause issues.. If you need 'larger', you might just twist doubled-30awg and it should still fit nicely.
How many wraps using 30awg NR and 30awg R would you recommend on your silica for best performance?

BTW I'll be vaping a 50/50 mix on the device. Not sure if that matters on your recommendation or not. Thanks!!

I have my Hercules Ithaka clone going with 2 2.4 ohm ready wires.. (1.2) Very nice vape.. On my Term C's, I've been happy with the 1.8 ohm, but Stormy just got the 1.5's, and 1.2's in, and I would like to try both. I'm not into sub-very low ohm setups.. (1.0 ohm and under) (old-school ;) ) I do like using 4 wraps of AWG 30 in my Term C with the Vochu Kayfun conversion kit.. (There's a thread regarding the kit in this section of the forum.)

EDIT: I should say that I use a Crown VV / VW device in my MKB-TS to adjust wattage on the 1.8 ohm ready-wire to suit whatever juice I'm using

Where do you get the crown VV/VW?

Super T ~ Artisan Vaping

I heard there will be more in-stock this week... ;)

I should add that out of 2 I have, one I received in a trade quit working, and Artisan's customer service isn't the greatest.. Others are reporting some issues, and think the delayed shipment may be due to fixing bugs before sending more out.. The other is working great though.. I like the fact I can have it installed in the MKB-TS with no threads showing in 18650 mode. (Not using the included safety fuse.. the device it's self has it's own safety features built-in)

check the classies for a term-c with kayfun conversion kit included...

TD, just say you had this yourself in the classies... If I had some $$ i would be all over it. But since i have 2 more LITES coming from Germany in the am, tiss why i am broke. The "kit" looks like a simple install, i guess i need to look for a "kit". I have 4 Terminator-c's working fine.

Is it a safety fuse? I thought it was just a magnetic spacer. I'll have to take a closer look at mine. Good to know it works well with MKB.

When he posted that I looked and messaged him but he's not even selling it. Looking for trades.

He is trading there all the time... I did not know what all was in the "kit" looks very simple and not many parts. I will just start looking for a kit, to convert a terminator in the future. There should be a better supply since it looks very simple & the Ody/term's are all over the place. Just the kayfun lites have taken all my $$ this month.

Got my Hercules today... nice!!!! Well, actually it's been a disaster trying to set this thing up. Catching the wires between that o-ring is a horrible design imo. When tightening the base into the MKB (without the 510 adapter) the o-ring is squashed and forced over those wires and there is no seal and my juice is really leaking out like mad. Super frustrating. Tried 3 builds and failure every time... arg. I must be doing something wrong.

@ buffalofloyd, I just now set up my Hercules, all went well, Ithaka is quite familiar to me.
What I did notice was just how soft that bottom o-ring is compared to Ithaka's, almost as if it were made of black silicone.
You might want to replace it with a dura 70 of correct size.
I have to say I really like the way the wires are held, perhaps with a harder o-ring it will be more agree-able to you

Glad to hear you got yours working. I gave up for the night. Using 3mm silica it's quite congested in there and my coils suck because of the knots, just too difficult to work around those knots. I am gonna wait for my zapper to arrive and give it another go then I think.

As far as o-rings go, I need replacements for my Nautilus and Hercules, gotta figure out what I need. I know the sizes were listed here a while back but I remember looking on one of those sites and not seeing a size that was a match to the one listed in this thread, so I didn't order. Accidentally rinsed the mouthpiece o-ring to one of my Naughty's down the sink while cleaning lol... duh ;-)
