The nautilus is the name the Terminator C has on the Vapor Freak website, unless there's also a Tobeco version too.

Which wouldn't be surprising at this point.

Yeah, I noticed they changed the pictures and thought, "that doesn't look like a nautilus....that's a term!"

So though they may be calling it a nautilus, I think it is a v2 term c. But the term, euphoria, and MKB are made by a Chinese manufacturer owned by a German outfit.

Tobeco is straight up Chinese manufacturing....as far as I know.

I feel like I keep saying this in this thread, but there's NOTHING I don't like about the Euforia. It's brilliantly machined, looks great, sets up easily and vapes excellently. The one thing I would change: they put an o-ring in the bottom of the ceramic, and I ruined my original ceramic heating it over the stove flame because I didn't realize it was there. Good thing I had ordered two extras at a couple bucks a piece. After watching Scott's review of the Penelope and realizing there's no o-ring in the ceramic, I've used it without it for as long as I've had it with no negative effects. I think it's just a design oversight/mistake on the part of the manufacturer, because it isn't necessary.

It's a very nice clone of the Penelope. I've never owned the real thing, but I can't imagine it being a whole lot better other than the shiny vs. brushed finish.

Thanks for your reply, I will be getting one. Ever since I got my Steam Machine from the classifieds I have fallen in love with it, every thing tastes so great in it. So I wanted to get another ceramic rebuildable. The Term is good, but it just doesn't taste as good as my Steam Machine. I think it's because it is so big, and all that cold steal is cooling down the taste. And it is just to bulky and heavy on my ProVeri.

No one should complain about China Copy's. When the original maker is so lame and can't seem to get their act together and supply us with what we want. If this wasn't the case, I would by the original Penelope.

Nautilus is the European name and Terminator is the US name for the same item although OKC calls the one they sell Nautilus.
Mountain Oak Vapor was selling a Tobeco for awhile and was calling it a Terminator-C but now sells Rainbow one.
They are really quite easy to determine which one is which as no body parts for an Oddy will interchange with the Tobeco one and ALL Oddy parts will interchange with a Nautilus/Terminator.
The Nautilus was the first to market and by Vapor Freak
Note the "knurling" on the bases of the mouthpieces as well as variations in the other parts.

During my search for pictures of the Tobeco either they are using pictures of the Terminator or they have changed their design. I think they are just using the picture, IMO

The picture above titled "Tobeco" is like the one I have that lives in this nice box on my desk

Still in the early 20's....

Interesting learning curve with this device. Sort of wish I had picked up a Euforia as well as the Term C.

So think I have sorted out the juice control as I am in hour 12 without the gurgles. The XC 116 is performing admirably and have some ecowool on the way as well.

I have owned a few clones, cough, actually rather a lot and have to say that while this one is obviously at a higher price point the quality justifies it completely. Had high end geny's and mods with poorer machining. In fact more than I like to admit.

If you are wondering about if you should go for this don't.

Back in another 180 odd pages !

I'm not quite sure what it is that you suggest not going for, could you be more specific?

Speaking of Tobeco Oddy clone, I finally found a use for mine beside salvaging the ceramic and ceramic housing.

It sure is hard taking pictures of something shiny with a flash in low light with a cheap camera.
This dripper holds a lot.
All I had to do was remove the platform from an A7, drop a small o-ring into the bottom of the Choddy base and screw in the A7 platform. I had to add a slightly larger o-ring to the drip tip and that was it.
It actually works quite well.

I shall call it ChodFun

Way cool DW. When you've been into this for awhile, the parts bin grows and grows, and then one day you realize - I think these will thread together - next thing you know everyone's doing it.

What did you do to make the drip tip work?

It took 5 min to put this together plus the coil
The drip tip is from a Vision Eternity which is just a tad bigger than a standard 510 drip tip (probably the chrome plating), I just put on another o-ring on the drip tip and pushed it in Choddy's tank top collar.
The pictures look bad but to see it, well it looks brand new.
When I get to juice vaped out I'll count the drops to bring it up near the top on the air tube but I expect about 50 drops

30 gauge @ 1.5 ohms
I cleaned it up and stopped at 80 drops, pretty close to the top of air tube but could have put a few more.

Choddy ($24.95) + A7 ($15.00) = Kayfun ($39.95)... Sorry, I mean Choddyfun. Good economics!
You even get some bonus ceramics for the Terminators. I also always like to mention how much I like the Tobeco lock ring - handles bubbles better on the Rampage Oddy tank upgrades.

DW, just to be certain... That's a normal A7, right? Not the "Mini".

Normal I as it's not that recent.
The upper body of the A7 will screw into the Choddy base on top of the A7 platform, there are about 6 threads still above the platform but it's to tall by 1/4" to put on the tank top.
If it was 1/8" too short I could have made a chamber out of it.
At least I'm getting a little use out of it but my Term's are looking at my funny like.

A7 standard, A7 mini, now A7 XXXL

I guess it's only fitting that it wear Ecowool undies (3mm folded w/28 gauge Kanthal @ 1.1 ohms)
The above wick/coil didn't fair that well but this 1.7 ohm with 32 gauge on the Vamo @ 12 watts is very nice. I also trimmed the loop off the wick and shortened it a bit . I wanted much lower but oh well maybe next time.

So uhm... Just to check (because none of this makes any sense to me) the Terminator-C R/A Tank V2 is Not made by Tobeco?
That is correct but there has been one supplier that called his Tobeco "Terminator-C" but stopped and started carrying the one made by Rainbow like Stormy's sells.

This was before the v2's came out anyway.

Okay guys, this will probably sound dumb but I need some help. Just got a term-c off the classifieds. First question...how do I tell if it is a version 1 or 2? Is there even a v1 term-c?

Next question...what size silica should I be using? I have been using 3mm and I am just not happy with the perforamnce so far. I am using a 3 wrap of 30 gauge for about .8 ohm on my mkb mechanical. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
