I've gotten it from my evods, spinner, evic vtc mini, coolfire, and now subox. If you buy it with the commercial box (authentic) you'll get a manual mostly. Depends though.

Vapez
I have only gotten manuals with the Itaste VV3's and the VTC Mini. Niether of my Zmax's came with manuals nor my Ehpro New Yorkers and none of my ego style batteries or clearos I bought in the past. The Lemo 2 and the Subtank mini's came with manuals.

The Sanyo spec sheet just says lithium ion.

Been using them in my Zmax V3 for months now.

They actually run cooler in my charger than tthe HG2's do. And do not heat up with use.

Max CDR is 4.3 amps per Sanyo. And 14 watts is 3.3 amps. So I am well under the CDR limit.

Like they guy with the Variant Ant Mod I am a professional ;)

    They are all Lithium Ion.
    That's a generic term.
There is no such thing as a Li Ma (IMR) or Li NiMa (INR) 18650 cell that is only 4 amp.

Knowing the actual battery chemistry is imperative if you want to stay safe!

Yes, and also whatever post in whatever forum it was, where the link to the "authorized resellers" list was given -- I got burned on some "AW" batts I bought when i first started, turned out to be counterfeits, so I did some investigating and turned up all that. Fortunately, 2 of the authorized resellers are vendors I buy from quite often -- sweet vapes and desertvapes -- so I go to them for AWs, usually sweet vapes, their prices are better. But I heard so much ruckus about the 25Rs and ilumn.com, I ordered those for my most recent battery purchase.
(ETA: my husband has a black light tube left from his hippie days, so i checked out the AWs I got from sweet-vapes -- they're real!!)

was just sayin' , that "AW's" are just re-wrapped Panasonic cells...

    But not safely.
    Kinda like having you around.
totally safe as long as I do not go over the maximum discharge rate. I do not use them in a mech.
Well as safe as using a bomb battery can be I suppose.
They are used in laptops all the time at the same current I am drawing. Not too many of those blow up.
The Zmax V3 has a maximum output current of 4 amps. Which is what I am using them in.

I am a Certified Electronics Technician and specially trained in high power DC battery sytems used by telcos.
Actually I am not sure if CET still exists. I also held a 1st class FCC license.

If you misuse things they can be dangerous. Like cleaning you ear with a toothpick.
If you use them within their specs not so dangerous.

I am also certified by the Coast Guard to maintain and repair their solar powered buoy systems.
That might need renewing though ;)

Like Victor I am a professional. And like victor I do not vape at 160 watts.

yepper, but that is how Aspire made it, (why?)
or any tank that has NO center air tube...
it is a top fill only (right?)
I agree I don't like to have to empty tank

The iClear-30S is, similarly, a tank that has NO center air tube.

The reason I still have a couple 30S's in my rotation is that the 10-15 seconds it takes to pour the ejuice into a small bottle (with a screw-on drip tip) before changing the coil...is easily exceeded by the time saved in refilling...5-10 seconds to screw/unscrew the TOP (and NO need to remove the tank from the Mod to refill).

    Course...that's just me...

Thus why I said "safe". There is a risk with everything electrical or which includes batteries and I'm willing to take that chance. But still, I want to be on the safest possible.

I research about battery safety and usage a lot, and I will definetely be a lot more educated about it when I'm going to use it for the first time. It's the TPD20 that is pushing me, so I think that if the smartest would be actually getting the hardware and other stuff FIRST, then learn about it LATER. If it wasn't for TPD20, I'd educate myself a lot more before even buying. You get what I'm saying here, right?

    :)
Mods and batteries are hardly gonna be regulated by the TPD. If you want to be prepared for the TPD, then get as many tanks over 2mls + coils and as many rebuildables as you can get. And stock up on nic and flavourings as well.
I'm not worried at all about batteries and mods....And we have implemented most of the tpd already :(

    Where do you live?

I'm getting those things anyway. I have two full subtank mini's and 7-8 subtank mini afc bases + rba bases and bell caps (authentic but turns out much cheaper.

I won't stock up on flavorings as they will always be available. If not for some reason, it doesn't matter. I've got enough flavorings for a couple years already and unflavored isn't bad at all.

Nicotine I am going to stock up on.

Anyone have a link to a carrying bag for mods/tanks/bottles etc? Preferably on fasttech. Need something when out travelling.

    Totally agree!

You know that blue iPV mini I was crowing about yesterday, that my husband says to go ahead and order for my xmas present from him? Well TD in the wompers' thread gave me the unpleasant news that the silly thing won't step down. :grr:
    This thing is soooooooooo gorgeous!!!!

I have a lot to learn, apparently. What is "step down"? I see it mentioned here and there, but I don't understand. I looked at the IPV Mini @AndriaD was talking about in her post. It's nice looking. It says it uses watts as low as 5 watts. That seems plenty low to me.....especially with a coil that is about 1.5 ohm. I personally like around 7 to 8 watts, myself.

So I'm confused what is this "step down" thing? o_O

    Take your pick.

Forget about wattage for just a sec.
Basically there are two ways to regulate voltage, one is to boost the voltage and the other is to reduce the voltage. Some chip sets can do one but not the other, other chip sets can do both.
Having "step down" simply means that it can do both.

Chip sets like the DNA 20 or 30 could only boost voltage. So they supplied unregulated voltage (whatever level the battery charge was) until the battery was depleted to the level of the wattage you wanted. (if "x" watts only requires 3 volts you're outa luck, you're gonna get whatever voltage is in the battery.)

@Vapez, I live in the Netherlands. We implemented most of the tpd since....I think June this year. Shops have been visited by the authorities and some got fined for 'illegal' tanks. It is totally unclear of drippers are still allowed, they are assessed on case by case basis

There's a nice vaping bag on FT, though I'm not sure if its practical. Looks nice tho....Dont have a link right now, maybe tomorrow if you want.
