Yeah, for my single coil rtas, I really can't see using a jig. But I'm doing more dual coils as of late, and that would really make it easy to make matching coils.

Great idea, Robert. I'll check Lowe's, since they aren't that far from my house. Other than that, I have other scrap parts I can use to make the frame.
Yep you can just take a piece of flat stock and bend in the square U shape and clamp it to the table with a C CLAMP.
I intend to weld mine onto a C Clamp.
I bent my metal today and found a professional Telephony Gator clip in a parts box that will work great to hold the wire. I think I will silver solder it to the crank though vs a wire tie.

Just wrapped and wicked another coil, no hot spots on first try this time as well. It is too easy.

Oh, and I love the "spark" of vapor the first time testing a newly dripped build :D The huge pop of sound and sparkling vapor coming out. Aahhhh.

And I did the same mistake this time as well...Putting the RBA on without the top cap.. Liquid just pouring through the airflow holes. Did it last time as well... And two times when using premade coils on aerotank, I forgot putting in the coil.. What's wrong with me, seriously...

Make sure you post pictures when it's done. I'd love to see what you come up with. :D

Hubby made this for me after we watched @super_X_drifter video on tensioned coils. Makes brilliant tensioned coils in seconds

Love it, Krisma! That's pretty much the same principle as the one Boden used in his vid. Just made a little bit differently. That looks like you can clamp it to whatever work area you want.

Yes it's a bit cumbersome for regular coils but I set it up for SS tensioned coils so I could get the coil small enough for the Sophia. To many wraps required to do by hand but this worked beautifully.

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

Hi hi hi. Yes, this is yet another KD drive by, but I did want to wish you all greetings of the seasonings, and a stress-free week of shopping, family, celebratories, and all that you want this time of year to be.

So to the girls in here. What would you like to recieve as a gift by your boyfriend/husband for christmas? Not expensive.

:)

Vapez

Oh, I'd be SO banned if I said what I'm thinkin'. ;)

Just a fly by post, not a good start of the week. :(
So bad I really thought about smoking a cig yesterday, been a long time since that happened.
I just added some WTA to the tank I was using and it passed.
Water Heater decided it was old enough and died, flooded 1/2 the house.
Took out my modem so I am tethered to my phone to post this, won't have a new modem until Friday.
Well anyway, here is what greeted me at 2:30 yesterday when I got home. :(

Burnie, I'm so sorry. Your vid, however, was amazing. How did you know to shoot that before walking in the house? Here's hoping you're high and dry and did decide to get the pink water heater. (make Andria proud)

I miss vaping my silver bullet with maptank @ 6v :( I can't imagine what it would have been like with a evolv kick.

Why did they stop making the stainless ce2 v4XL?

WHAAAAAAAT????

Love it, crixer!!!!!! Shall I pass on your wish/miss to MAP? That is hilarious!!

19th December 2013 was the day I smoked my last cigarette - 2 years smoke free today (and ECF has played a big part in making it happen so THANK YOU everyone):vapor:

Two HUGE Twin Congrats to you, Maytwin! Hope you enjoyed your oh so special day! TWICE even. :D

A real tootle puffing rig :D

According to the vid someone is actually selling that deathtrap.
Can't wait for Busardo to do a review on it.....

You punched me to the beat, R of Cromwell. Is that UNBELIEVABLE or WHAT!!!!

Be well TPuffers. Hugs to you all~

Well tracking sez my new iPV Mini made it to ATL tonight...

I already told the other half that I'll be testing it out when it arrives, to make sure it isn't DOA. :D So tomorrow I'll be vaping at a whopping 10w on the new blue mod. :D Gonna try out a different version of a 2 ohm coil; the first one which I've been vaping for a day now, is 8 wraps of 29ga around a 7/64 drillbit. Next I'm going to try 9 wraps of 29ga around my customary 3/32 drillbit, see if I like it better. the 7/64 is ok, but the flavor isn't as good, so I thought I'd try it a bit different.

Water was leaking out the front door, so I went around back to shut off the main, and went inside from the back door. So I knew the living room was under water (4" deep) and the only way to get the water out was to open the front door, so I decided to film it. Should see the looks on peoples faces every time I show someone the video.

I wanted Pink, but they only had it in dark grey.

Everything is dried out, but still need the floor cleaned. The insurance adjuster will be here this afternoon to determine the damages and what they are going to cover.

I really hope that the insurance does the right thing for you. Sucks having this happen during the Christmas Season. It's bad enough having the stress of the Holidays. I hope for you and your Family that the damage is minimal and the insurance covers what needs be!

I have to confess that your video of your disaster made my blood run cold. I've been in a worried knot ever since: wondering when our water heater is going to break. It's getting old. The fear is real.

This makes me thankful that my water heater is in the garage down three steps. Really sorry you had to go through this, Burnie.

Ditto that. We wanted to buy one with our last tax refund (hence all the blather about water heaters at the beginning of the last TP thread!), but couldn't afford it. It's gotta be done with the next one for sure. Ours is maybe 8-9 yrs old, I think -- it was here when we bought the house in '11 -- and tank itself seems ok, but it's gas, and gas appliances scare me to death. The gas stove that was here started making obnoxious fumes, so I couldn't even cook until we replaced it -- with a cheap electric! Fortunately there was already a 220 plug behind the stove, but if we want an electric water heater, that'll also mean an electrician, to wire a new 220 for it. :w00t:

Hey peeps, my xmas mod got here today. :D :D :D I'm "testing it out" (to make sure it isn't DOA), and I think I like the new version of a 2 ohm coil better than the first version; 9 wraps 29ga around 3/32 instead of 8 wraps around 7/64. I guess I'm just a lot better at wicking a 3/32 since I've used that size coil for 6+ months.

Tada!

I dunno. I know gas water heaters cost a lot more than the electric ones do... and are prone to dispensing toxic fumes.

Andria

In NY I had a gas water heater in the laundry room and never any problems. I just changed my water heater here in Fl and it's electric in the garage. When I said triple the cost I meant that changing from gas to electric will cost you more. Electricians are not cheap!
