Got my XC-116 today. Heated it with my creme brulee torch. Wow! Nice and clean flavor. I noticed that I burnt the wick that came with the IAtty, but after 3+ hours of heavy use this thing looks brand new. Pristine and white. This was definitely the best IAtty purchase I have made thus far.

...same here and I've noticed, even chain vaping, it keeps up. Fiberglass did a great job; this is simply better.

The only thing I have noticed and maybe it is just the juice I am currently using, but my mouth seems very dry. I will have to load up something completely different when this tank runs out and see if it is a consistent feeling across all my juices.

I am glad to here other people are happy with this. I am still using the same wick I started with 3 rebuilds later. Even though it cost more to start with it just keeps going and going.

I just got mine in today. Ran the torch over mine for 5 minutes, nice and white and vaping like a champ! It's only been 10 minutes with this wick, but I can already tell the difference. Glad you found this.

Jonah, your wick is better than mine, thats for sure!! I have already send china wick to my sellers so we can try both and tell the differences:)

I will order some of the China wick to compare.

Which method are you guys using for the ceramic wicks? Wick on top, or wire coiled around?

I am using the coiled around.

I'm vaping with the coils around the wick. I haven't tried the xc 116 with the wick on top. I didn't have much luck with the original wick on top. But HV vaping needs lots of juice readily available. I will give it a shot with the wick on top next time I redo my rig. I am also going to be ordering some of the China wick that Imeo is sending to suppliers. Testing is so much fun. :)

Fun but messy.

I personally find myself in a bind. Coil around the wick works better for me but my juice is carmalizing and burning on the wick. Wick on top of the coil doesn't seem to feed quite enough juice so even though the wick looks pristine I still get a burnt taste.

Hopefully the XC 116 wick will feed enough

Have you tried the china wick or the one that came with the Iatty or both? If both how do they compare to each other?

I have just been comparing the original wick that came with the iAtty to the xc-116. They both do very good but the xc-116 wicks better. I've had some problems with the xc-116 being too thick and not wanting to fit inside the cone but I have it in right now and it's doing awesome.
