Thanks!
I've been searching for a way to shim up a cut 510 carto tube so I can put any old 510 drip-tip on the i06, and so far your suggestion works best. I took some heavy-duty teflon tape and wrapped it around the i06 just a wee bit more than once, making sure I applied it as smooth as possible. Slowly shoved the 510 tube on and presto. Nice tight seal, no funny taste.
Now, should I really trust that I'm not inhaling vaporized pipe tape? :)

I am a little confused... I was under the impression that the IO6 without the DT is the width of a 510 atty. Did I misunderstand that?

Thanks.

The i06 atty is slightly larger than a 306 and slightly smaller than the width of a 510 tube.

Yeah! It's mister in between :(

As long as it's smaller than the ID of the 510 tube, that's good enough for me. I like your idea of using some teflon tape. I'm seeing a longer carto tube and tailpiping in my future... :)

At the moment I'm sort of weirding out on the Teflon tape idea. I don't know if it's just in my head, but after vaping on it all day I'm thinking it's got a funny wang. I'll keep it going tomorrow and let you know.

Hmm, interesting... I'm curious for sure. Thanks.

What about sanding down the stock IO6 cap to fit inside a 510 tube? Would it sand down to the OD of a 306 cap without disappearing in the process?

The IO6 cart will fit a 510 DT though. Just tried that :) Ya gotta chop the top off though.

I love my i06 but stopped using it. I hate the drip tip. Mine is so loose that after vaping it sticks to my lip and falls off. It's so loose that if I turn it upside down it falls off the atty and that's how its been sense getting it. I can't wait till they come out with the dca i06.

Put it in the freezer for the day !

I would like a longer i06 Drip tip, 2" to be exact, this would help in many ways, something like a 2" Cannon but without the big end on the cannon mouth piece, something more contoured on the mouthpiece ! this would be the perfect tip in my opinion for the i06

Also on Day #35 at midnight with my original Beta i06 still running as good as Day #1 !!!

I agree, I really like the deep contour or the end (after I drilled out the hole). It is 5/8" shorter than my XL 306 DT, which I think is a good length. But I wouldn't argue with 2". Either way It takes a little heat off the tongue............. Please Isaac !!!

BTW ~ 30 hours now of vaping bliss............ and yes this beats the crap of of my generic LR306's

Sorry about your probleb. Mine fits very tight and I like it a lot. I didn't even drill the end. You must of got a weird one or something.

I contacted Cherry Vapes, and they said the io6 drip tip will be out around Vapefest time.
Great

Good to hear they will be out soon, I'm surprised Cheryl gave you info on Issac's products at all !

I've done some testing with the i06 by making some pieces up and extending the current DT for them,,,, findings where that 2" works extremely well, especially on the HV-I06, but even on the 2ohm too, not as much heat and the liquid drops down away from the mouth quickly as well as doesn't come back up to the mouth AT ALL !
