Morning folks. Flight is delayed 1/2 hr, so have some time to check in here. Hope it doesn't mess up our connector flight in Chicago.

Should be a safe flight ... Have at least 1 priest in the waiting area. And if the flight isn't safe ... At least there's a chance to get "last rights.

I'm with the buy cheap contingent when it comes to keyboards. I don't think that spending additional money would result in having one that lasts longer, so might as well get the cheapest one I can find.
I have a topend Dell computer keyboard that I got at Goodwill. Does that count? I have had it for ages. ;)

I prefer to get my hands on them before buying. The feel and the "action" of the keys can make a big difference. But they don't have to be high end for a good feel. (Careful, careful! We're talking keyboards here!!)

The keyboard that I just replaced is a Dell brand keyboard. I have no idea what end it's on, but it came with this Dell desktop that's 2 years old. The keyboard was made in China. Some keys recently started to stick. I replaced it with a much older keyboard that has slightly less problems with keys sticking.

You should post that in the Girly pretty thread - they will LOVE it!

while a 3-D printer COULD print a keyboard,it would take about 18 hours, and the printer would have to be stopped every so often to insert the electronics.
what we need are Star Trek REPLICATORS!
Sorry, I just can't get into clones. Authentic, HEKB's only for me. And I need to find a stand to display properly for my Instagram, Flicker, Twitter, FB followers. Oh, & those special, secret places where you have to submit a statement of your financial sratus to belong to. By invitation only, of course.

It's a joke, 0mg.
Well, I was intending to buy an inexpensive keyboard but since Omg recommends that one, maybe I'll go big and buy one of those, brand new, for $13 delivered. Thanks for the link!

Oh, wait... my 2013 computer doesn't have a PS/2 connection. Everything except the computer monitor and the sound is connected via USB. Yeah, I know I could get an adapter but I'm not going to do that... I cancelled my order a few minutes after placing it.

Arrrrrgh! That is SO frustrating! I had to have my keyboard replaced due to cat hair getting under the keys! I tried to keep it clean, honest. So I bought a "keyboard skin" from Apple that was stupid expensive and it didn't last very long. Then I got one for $7 from Amazon and like it even better than the expensive Apple one and it's prettier too. You can lift it off very easily and even wash it if you want and it goes right back on. Now I don't have to worry about the cat hair or spilling anything on it.

Thanks for the info! I'm gonna get one of those!

Not that I'm clumsy or uncoordinated...no,no... not me....

So how are ya liking it so far Matt? I love mine; great little form factor for the battery size. Being the tootle puffer that I am I opted to buy a box of TC coils that fit my GS Air-M, but haven't tried them out yet. I'm liking the Nauti mini on mine for now. Here's a pic of mine, got her decked out in some autumn colors.

HKEB? Even though it is old, can get it for a reasonable price, although much more than I paid for mine. http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0045JR9SS/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new

I'll raise you this :

Disclaimer : I am not affiliated with Walmart in any way, in fact, I am not their biggest fan .. however, if you need something quick, they are ubiquitous ..
