Make mine stablized Amboina Burl, please.

I am offering various wood grains after carving a few last night out of some spare logs I had laying around .. ;)

i sincerely apologize for derailing the thread with my keyboard nonsense.

I'm curious how far the Keyboard chatter will go .. and, you can't derail a thread that's essentially stream of consciousness anyway ..

It's always been my policy to :

Could you autograph it in that big empty spot on the upper right corner? That spot is just begging for some UW artwork! I've seen your art, remember!

Arrrrrgh! That is SO frustrating! I had to have my keyboard replaced due to cat hair getting under the keys! I tried to keep it clean, honest.
 I don't have a problem with the keyboard because it pulls out into my lap from under the top of the computer desk ... so it's protected from the cats .. but not me
BUT my wireless mouse is another story.
The cat hairs get inside and get all wrapped up in the wheel.
Then I have to get out the dental pick, and dig out as much as I can.
They like laying on the mouse pad, and I wipe it off before using it, but that little wheel can sure find what I miss.

I use the Logitech Trackman Marble Trackball mouse and I've used it for about 15 years now. Or to be more accurate, I've used about 6 of them in that time and just ordered another. It's the buttons that eventually fail rather than the trackball. The trackball can be easily popped out, without tools, to clean the ball, the contacts and the optical window.

What I like best is that the mouse is stationary. I like to clutter my desk and really appreciate not having to move a mouse around on it. What I like second best is the quick and easy cleaning.

Rain most of the time since early Monday morning and there's no end in sight. Very hard rain at times. In weather like this I think of the letter carriers who are on foot, since I had a walking route for many years before I retired. Hardest delivery day ever was the day that Hurricane Floyd hit in 1999... it was completely impossible to keep everything from getting soaked that day, with about 15 inches of rain falling in one day. Things only got worse after that first day... long story... not a whole lot of fun in this part of NC. These are photos taken (by the city of Rocky Mount, where I carried mail) in the days after the flood. http://www.rockymountnc.gov/floydphotoalbum.html

Well, took this song seriously I guess:

Went with the optical mouse years ago, for that very reason, Slots. No ball, no roller. They do come both wired and wireless.

I used a microsoft trackball for years. Then they discontinued it. Could never get used to a logitech. So went with a laser mouse. But a FWIW... you can get a tiny hair or fuzz in the laser. Drive u nutz until you figger out it can get screwed up and then have to get a tiny pair of tweezers or something to work it out.

For a KB I like the MS ergonomic boards. Love to get an ergonomic mechanical but seems there's no such animal. Just can't use a straight board anymore. Much as I hate Macs, they do make a good KB. Mechanical.

So how are ya liking it so far Matt? I love mine; great little form factor for the battery size. Being the tootle puffer that I am I opted to buy a box of TC coils that fit my GS Air-M, but haven't tried them out yet. I'm liking the Nauti mini on mine for now. Here's a pic of mine, got her decked out in some autumn colors.

So far so good. Battery life seems to be good. Vapes nice and I am still amazed by the size. This darn thing is small. I haven't tried TC yet. If I do I'll probably by a tank that uses a prebuilt coil. I understand making nickel coils is a pain in the ....
