When DH had his cataracts removed about 5 years ago they didn't give him these options but gave him lenses that made his vision 20/20 until recently. Do you not have that option?
Not in those terms. It's sort of my understanding that the distance lens would be at or near 20/20, or be able the read the 20' line at 20'. Certainly, if I go for the near vision, that isn't going to happen.

They can only do so much. Like split the difference. It is better. Before I got my new glasses a week ago, I was afraid my left eye was going lazy; not likely at this late age, but....

I have thyroid eye disease meaning that the eye muscles have swollen and don't move in sync. So, they gave me a prism in the lens. Fixed it right up. When I first got them I could feel my eyes working to match each other. Pretty sure Hillary had the same prism thing but hers could have been temporary. They can try you with a temporary prism which is like a plastic sheet that covers the lens and if it works they do it when they grind the lens and then you can't see the lines. I don't know if this is a possibility for your problem, but might be worth asking about.

Yes, I asked for a prism, and it is in the prescription.

I cannot imagine what it would be like trying to see with that. It could explain a great deal.

... and they danced on...

We just discovered each other
Tonight when the lights were low
One dance led up to another
And now I can't let you go

So tell me I may always dance
The 'Anniversary Waltz' with you
Tell me this is real romance
An anniversary dream come true

Let this be the answer
To our future years
Through millions of smiles
And a few little tears
May I always listen to
The Anniversary Waltz
With you...

Actually it was kinda interesting. Never saw so many stars! And watching a hockey game was pretty intense with all those players on the ice.

Not totake away from the congratulations and celebrations of long term anniversaries, I have a celebration tonight...

Drum Roll please...

Today, at the Ocala Dog show Belgian Tervuren Regional Specialty, Geordi, Bijou Luisant Kontinuing Mission, CA, TKN, CGC, was handled expertly by his breeder to Winner's Dog and Best of Winner's for a 5 point major!!! This is a big deal in dog shows! He is now, with very limited showing, 1/2 way to his Championship!!! To say I am on cloud nine tonight is an understatement. Possibly another 5 point major tomorrow, but ya never know!!

Go GMan!!
