Movie review: "Blow", 2001. Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, Ray Liotta, Rachel Griffiths. It wouldn't have mattered if this movie was about watching grass grow, pun realized so I guess intended.... the acting talent would have made it worth watching. Semi-historical drama, engrossing and excellent.

I'll be watching, but not the pre-game stuff. A fellow retired letter carrier, Brian Burgess, who's up in CT, will be doing his DJ thing from 3-6 pm and I'll be listening to that: WXCI 91.7FM

I don't like the Patriots, but they are an incredible dynasty with comeback ability that just makes you shake your head.

In church this morning there were a few of the hard core football fans missing - they obviously did not want to miss a second of the pre game talks... Their wives did not have on happy faces knowing why hubby stayed home...

Me, I will turn it on about 6:30 for the initial kick off.

Patriots - recent dynasty/legendary QB
Eagles - never won a SB/nastiest fans in pro sports

JMHO, but someone who gave up a lucrative career that was worth more per year than you or I ever made in our entire careers, is principled, not frigging "ungrateful".

Just to give you an idea of how well I track sports. This morning I was asked if I was ready for Brady to earn his next Superbowl ring - I asked what team he was playing for. Duh - patriots - okay then I am going to cheer for the other team...

I always root for the under dog - always have and always will. Everybody needs to have the feeling of being a winner sometimes.

Now of course since I live in Ga - I root for Ga teams and since most of my family lives down in Fl I also root for Fl teams - unless they are playing Ga. My wife has relatives in Tx so I root for them also again unless they are playing Ga...
