Legs dropped off the radar, and he has been keeping the thread busy. I am almost ready to unwatch the thread.

Hopefully he's gotten his sodium levels back to normal, or gotten the real cause of his current issues turned around, if not that. :nun:

Was it here that we were talking about chicken pot pie? Well, I made it last night in the pressure cooker for dinner and it was delicious.
Dat was da first meal I made in mine. Same basic recipe, except I used Pillsbury biscuits cut into quarters.

I have my own bisquick recipe that I make in the food processor and keep in the pantry. Just put some in a bowl and add some milk and then I just dropped them on top and it worked just fine. I've seen people just cut Pillsbury biscuits with a scissor or knife too, but I didn't have any. A co-worker brought me what looked like square noodles and told me they were from their pot pie. I didn't understand how it could be called a pie if it didn't have a crust, but evidently many of the Amish make the square noodles. Guess it just depends on what you like. I think they'd both be good and there was leftovers for my breakfast!! Yummy!

Bot Boi soup with those big square noodles is awesome. I guess some people say pot pie sometimes.

AGREED - Chicken Pot Pie - like all pies - have a crust (either on the bottom or top or both) . . . IMHO - Anything else drop into or floating in a "Stew" with a gravy (thick liquid) is either "Dumplings"/"Slicks" (More about that discussion here: Lounge Lizards / Misfits / Free Thinkers / Bohemians & the Forgotten :: Young at Heart Only ) . . . "AND - That's The Truth" . . . :pervy:

    Just Sayin' . . . ;)

Yep, I think that's what her pot pie would have looked like. And maybe I misunderstood her - maybe she said Bott Boi and I just translated it to Pot Pie, but I did question where the crust was. I agree with Uncle, it's more like a stew without a crust.

Question for those of you with an Echo... How do you stop Alexa from answering questions you haven't asked? Silly thing is sometimes picking up on voices from the TV and giving me info I haven't asked for, nor needed...o_O
That's funny there :). I thought that they only responded to your particular voice?

I thought so too... Strangest of all, nobody has been in my apartment since I installed it...my speaking voice is decidedly not masculine, yet...she has responded to male voices on my TV...o_O

Ah David...it's my life alert system and as clumsy as I've been today...having managed to knock over two cups of paint that I had mixed custom colors into...sure as shinola I'd trip and fall, out of reach of my landline...break the cell phone in my pocket and... would be unable to have the silly thing make a call for me...

All of those "helpers" are always on. They record EVERYTHING! 'Tis true. There is no such thing as privacy. The microphones in the speaker shells are condenser-type microphones and are very sensitive. There is a place to make them less sensitive but mine are Google minis not the brand you have. That info is from Google so I am not absolutely aure of my info but in reading about them that is my impression.

The devices are always recording on a very short loop of about 5-7 seconds to allow them to do their thing. It's a looped recording locally on the device. If you reasearch it the recordings cant be recovered. Law enforcement has already tried to have it recovered to help in a crime scene investigation and they got nothing but the most recent few seconds the device is programed to loop. Like you thought she's picking up something she hears that sounds similar to her wake word. We changed our's to echo from alexa because we have a gd named alexa. My hubs sleeps with the tv on and I hear her respond to many words that sound similar to "echo".
