Thanks for asking!

Our eldest that had the 'reconnect' is doing well. Only an occasional down day, but getting better as time passes.

Our youngest with breast cancer, had her head shaved on Christmas Eve. Her hair began to come out in clumps. She looks beautiful. She has the perfect skull to show off!

So far she only needs a lil' mid day nap, plus she has to have a 'bite' to eat every couple of hours. She'll have her second 'drip' this Tuesday.

Missed last week's pool practice session due to the holidays. Next one is tomorrow...

To all, hoping this year was great and next year will be better!

Good to hear that things are going well for both of your daughters. I think many women are surprised to learn how beautiful they are without hair and that's a good thing because it's such a shock to have happen - a double whammy to have the disease and also lose the hair which anchors your identity. Continued wishes and prayers for successful outcomes and good health for both your daughters.

Good morning and WELOME 2020! I'm a wimp. Couldn't keep my eyes open past 11:30 so it happened without me. Looks like it didn't need my help after all. So, today is our tradition to have pork and sauerkraut. It's supposed to bring good luck and I guess it's mostly worked for us over the years so it's probably wise to not mess with success.

That picture is hilarious! It's weird, but our 2 cats never went up into any of our trees, live or artificial. They will, however, chew the heck out of any artificial garlands laying around. Then they throw up in the most inconvenient places. Is this because we kept them as indoor cats or are they just weird from birth?

We've had a few cats climb the tree. All ours are in/out door critters, so tree climbing is a survival skill. (We do lock them in at night, since owls, coyotes and other predators are around.)

And we've also had a couple that love to chew on garlands. So likely from birth and not totally weird?
