I am sooo bad... I try to keep up on reading ALL the posts here, but get so far behind....if I multi-quoted to every one I wanted to reply to.....you'd be scrolling for 10 minutes to get through it. Just want y'all to know....I DO pay attention to what you post. My sympathies, congrats, prayers, thoughts are with you.....even if I haven't expressed them here in posts.

We have a new Triple Crown winner! American Pharaoh did it like a stroll in the park. Fantastic race. For an old horse rider and racer, I have goosebumbs and heart needs to stop pounding. Only his 8th career start. Amazing horse (and rider!)
It really was wasn't it? 3 or 4 lengths at the end. Made it look easy. Congrats to him, now if only his owners could spell!

My daughter and her husband just scored FREE tickets to see the World's Greatest Rock and Roll band, The Rolling Stones, on June 12th at the Orlando Citrus Bowl. We get to keep the kids. :D:eek::headbang:

Pretty cool! It's amazing that they can still draw breath much less tour and perform. I would love to see them but, not going to pay what I would have to. That would certainly be a $400 per head show if you included gas, hotel, parking, food etc. Nah, I'll pass. Now free is another story all together.

Ordered one of these yesterday and will get in on Monday....
Behringer PODCASTUDIO USB:Amazon:Musical Instruments
Looking forward to getting it. I've been wanting one for a while. I want to try to get into podcasting. It will also help me in the hangouts. Will be able to hear myself now so I won't scream and maybe Doree can watch TV comfortably.

Been putzing all day, but got some weeding done and cleaned up around here as best I could. Ken, if you still have any energy left I could sure use you here!! Doing dishes in the laundry tub does not make my back very happy, but it's only for a few more days until I have a kitchen back. So I ran out to try a local ice cream shop and got a chocolate milkshake for lunch. Not bad, but I've had better. For dinner I needed a real meal so I ordered lasagna from Olive Garden online and picked it up. No bad! Now I've got to get some bills paid and load the car with Miles stuff to take with us when we pick up our son tomorrow.

Yay! American Pharaoh won. Now he gets a permanent vacation for the rest of his life!

When we remodelled the kitchen in our first house Doree did the dishes in the bathtub for almost 6 weeks. Did all the work ourselves. I was an E-5 in the Navy at the time and we couldn't afford a contractor. I think your going to love your new kitchen. You lucky thing! :thumb:

not even enough energy to go view the hangout tonight. I got my Duinokit Jr. in the mail today... yay! it's my second delivered kickstarter project. I got the Jr. and the Essentials learning kits, but they are sending them separately so we can start having fun now.

I just did the first mission with the 3 stages...
Make a light blink.
change the rate of the blink.
alternate two lights. ( I figured out 2 ways to do it. alternate and overlap)

the kits teach Arduino programming and component connections, so for the first mission, you use wires to plug from the processor to one or more LEDs, then you have to run the Arduino program code to get it to work.

These are kind of like a modern version of the old Radio Shack electronics kits. modern here means you learn programming as well.

I get my porches confused. I thought I posted on the back porch, but I posted on the front. Anyways..if you didn't see this on the front. Here it is on the back.
REVIEW: My DIY Betelgeuse with Capellas verdict: Great stuff, totally rocks, nearly there, though something missing.
Sweet Strawberry (Cap) 6%
Golden Pineapple (Cap) 5%
Raspberry (Cap) 5%
Sweet Mango (Cap) 3%
Sweetener (Sucralose) (TFA) 0.5%
This was a guy's recipe who has been trying to perfect it since the flavor came out. I didn't add or subtract anything and made it precisely according to his directions for a 65/35 pg/vg with 16 mg nic. I used 10 ml, 3 ml, and 1 ml syringes to measure. (You can get these at Walmart, the 1 ml is the tuberculin syringe if they tell you they don't have any. I told them I needed them to mix essential oils rather than ejuice...just because.)
Now, this is awesome. I can taste whiffs of raspberry, then a hint of strawberry, and take another draw and get a mouthful of mango with a berry or pineapple finish. I am vaping on a new coil and have gradually increased the watts. It has all the four flavors and sweetener, but I swear to you there is something they aren't telling. Something's missing. Betelgeuse, while delightfully and interestingly fruity, leaves me with a soft, mellow, toasty, warm aftertaste akin to brown sugar or caramel. Not sure what, and not sure percent...but something is slightly off. As a clone, it's certainly a good one, so I don't want to experiment with it just yet. Maybe on the next run. Don't start yelling at the line cook.

Howdy y'all. So, we got our Internet back at work Saturday. I can't believe I actually caught up on reading in here. Seapeach, I hope the granddaughter is all right. Damned CPS can't get 'em to work right when you need 'em and butting in ya business when you don't need 'em.

I hope everybody is doing all right. It appears that way. At least our AC is fixed in the office. Last hitch it was broken the whole hitch, and I was tempted to get naked to speed up the process of them fixing it. :pervy: I'm sure they would have hurried up then. It's hotter than Hades down here with little to no breeze. Even the Gulf of Mexico looked like glass!! I don't even have an appetite because of the heat.

The whole island lost power on Friday due to some underground something or other that broke. Thank goodness we were on generator power. And even better, it was fixed before I got back to the apartment after work. I would have never slept in this heat.

Anyway, enough of my rambling. Carry on folks!!
