I get my porches confused. I thought I posted on the back porch, but I posted on the front. Anyways..if you didn't see this on the front. Here it is on the back.
REVIEW: My DIY Betelgeuse with Capellas verdict: Great stuff, totally rocks, nearly there, though something missing.
Sweet Strawberry (Cap) 6%
Golden Pineapple (Cap) 5%
Raspberry (Cap) 5%
Sweet Mango (Cap) 3%
Sweetener (Sucralose) (TFA) 0.5%
This was a guy's recipe who has been trying to perfect it since the flavor came out. I didn't add or subtract anything and made it precisely according to his directions for a 65/35 pg/vg with 16 mg nic. I used 10 ml, 3 ml, and 1 ml syringes to measure. (You can get these at Walmart, the 1 ml is the tuberculin syringe if they tell you they don't have any. I told them I needed them to mix essential oils rather than ejuice...just because.)
Now, this is awesome. I can taste whiffs of raspberry, then a hint of strawberry, and take another draw and get a mouthful of mango with a berry or pineapple finish. I am
vaping on a new coil and have gradually increased the watts. It has all the four flavors and sweetener, but I swear to you there is something they aren't telling. Something's missing. Betelgeuse, while delightfully and interestingly fruity, leaves me with a soft, mellow, toasty, warm aftertaste akin to brown sugar or caramel. Not sure what, and not sure percent...but something is slightly off. As a clone, it's certainly a good one, so I don't want to experiment with it just yet. Maybe on the next run. Don't start yelling at the line cook.
