I'm on it MWA.... do these fit a i06 cylinder (510/901)? ...
You guys can buy those DCA's I'll spend $1-$2 on one of these or make one on my own from a delrin tube and use my Empire drip shield and it will be even better ! I06 dont need a DCA in my opinion, just my opinion !

The ones pictured dont, there from another site, but they can be made for much cheaper then a DCA Uke and keiths Drip shields Rock, the way I see it this is gonna be a great way to roll, it's only a freaking piece of Delrin going from the size of the I06 (8.4MM) or so to a 9mm 510 tube, gotta be cheap to have some made or heck even get some delrin rod and turn it to size ;-) and at that the ones pictured sell for only $5

So I just 'found' a couple of HR i06's in the mail today (thank you LegioX) along with a drip tip and it seems to have broken in mighty quickly :) although I have a feeling it is still 'growing'.

From the beginning of this post, I got that I need to drip 4 drops, wait, fire 2 one second bursts, drop 1 or 2 more then vape (thanks loft!)....:vapor: When vapor gets lower, dripping 2 or 3 more and there you go, no leaking at all. Doesn't seem like I will need a drip shield for this thing, even though I like my EMDS.

Using it on my IPro. Started it at around 5.4 volts, but I had to turn it down  My first 5 volt vaping experience! Way cool, or should I say way warm...

I know I am new, but this thing is awesome! Blows away the Joye 510 2.5 ohm I have been using. Nice draw, warm vapor, good flavor, and I am not a big throat hit kind of guy, but omg, people say that they don't get much of a th from vaperite organic tobacco juices, but I wonder if they have tried it on an HR io6 at over 5v? Actually, a bit too much for me!

Really looking forward to trying the 2 and 2.5i06!

I'm at 5.1v right now, is there a point that I shouldn't go below? Like, should I not go under 5v? I want to treat this thing nice so it will last.

Thanks you guys!

Ok, now I think I finally know what breaking in an atty means! Wow.

I am at 5.1v and now there is consistent vapor, flavor and it became incredibly SMOOTH! Yummy!

It is not too much for me....I actually want more i06! Might have to turn it up dude!

Moving away from beta, I've realized that the additional step of burst firing and adding two additional drops isn't really needed. With thinner juice, you can just start out with four drops and get anywhere from 10-15 pulls on it. If you're using a thicker VG based juice (I stay away from VG, hate it) then you can try 6 drops. Glad you're enjoying them. :)

I06 with my new Hex drip shield from empire

@ Trogg,,, I got that same Hex drip shield from Keith at VaperCon, I think it's the nicest one he has made yet, looks awesome on my Black Crhome provari too or any mod for that matter.

OK, my Beta I06 just passed away :-( without counting exactly how many days I think it is right around 100 days of hard core vaping on it, I'd say I got my miles out of this I06 for sure though ;-)

Please! Please! Make a better drip tip! The one I got is too narrow and juice gets stuck in her throat (That's what she said...)
My second one cracked just taking it out of the package. Please a cannon type, (or anything else that fits) would make this the perfect atty!
Pyrex and other tips are in the works. Just a little bit longer... :)

Okay, I admit it; I haven't read every post it this thread, but I have perused it pretty well and I need some advice.

When I got my 1.5ohm io6, I had trouble at first getting a hit w/o at least a little of the 'empty/electric/metal' taste on my throat. This is the same taste I get on my 1.5 ohm XLR atty when it needs more juice, but much stronger. After a day or two, it finally went away and I had a great day of vaping. Now it's back. I've dripped until it's running out the air holes and I've rolled it around and held it upside down doing my best to get everything in there coated with juice and I still get this taste.

I've tried 'cold hitting' and rinsed it under hot water, too.

I am out of ideas.

Advice?

Try blowing out all the juice in the i06, then put 4 fresh drops in and vape, sometimes when an Atty has to much juice in it , it can taste funny and not work the same, just a thought.
