OK 2 1/2 days on the HV and I'm amazed. I never noticed 'break in' before and I don't know if that is what happened. But the flavor I got out of BWB applewood I've never tasted before (been vaping this for 54 weeks). The apple was richer and a great tobacco undertone.

To top that off on a fresh drip I took about 9 hits and left my pv in my car for about an hour. It's warm here or what most of you would call too damn hot. The pv was warm as usual (don't know if that maters) and I started vaping. I know I got at least 10 + amazing hits. When it started to wane, I took a no power hit and keep vaping. I haven't been able to recreate it tonight but the flavor is still outstanding with plumes of vapor. Draw is so much more relaxed than my first batch.

This just might have found my holy atty !!!!

Yup! The one I scorched has performed as normal after a bath in alcohol, something I was never capable of doing in the past.

I was never one to vape through when changing flavours, the 306 comes close, but the IO6 definitely performs extremely well when changing flavours.

However, I have noticed that the resurected scorched one requires topping up more frequently than it did originally.

Hmm, interesting... I'm curious for sure. Thanks.

What about sanding down the stock IO6 cap to fit inside a 510 tube? Would it sand down to the OD of a 306 cap without disappearing in the process?

I have given up on the Teflon tape idea. I'm now certain that an off taste was produced and not necessarily because of the heat. The tape appeared to do just fine, but it seems to emit a taste/smell on its own when used in the quantity needed to shim it up to 510 interior dimensions. When I took it off the wang immediately went away. Also over the course of a couple days it became more loose.

I think it could be possible to sand down the stock i06 tip but by eyeballing it you'd probably have to take off about half the circumference. It wouldn't leave much.
My quest continues. I don't want to be tied to anybody's particular drip-tip.

But all that aside, the i06 is FANTASTIC.

Thanks snork, I was hoping you didn't forget... :)

I appreciate your feedback.

Alrighty an update to my earlier posts on these attys.... I have been using the io6 lrs for several weeks now and they hit just as good as day 1. Only thing I have done is 1 night soaking in everclear (just for the hell of it since they were still hitting fine, and blown them out occasionaly). They are without a doubt my alltime favorite 306 lr attys. (Issac can attest to that by the number I have ordered from him to ensure I NEVER run out of these!) :2cool:

Now, up untill tonight I have forgotten about the 2 hv io6's I had gotten with my first beta order... Man, I can't begin to express how impressed I am with the way that these hv attys with 2x 3.2v life-po batts in my reo grands perform. MASSIVE clouds of vapor. Just the right temperature of the vapor for my tastes. And absolutley the best flavor I have EVER gotten from an atty, let alone a hv atty! The 306 3.5Ω "IKEN" loose some of the flavor imho of the sweet juices I vape. Now these io6 hv's bring out more flavor than I have ever tasted in my juice. I'll see how they last comparred to the "lr's", but as of now I have found the ONLY 2 attys I think I'll be using for the forseeable future... :2cool:

Thanks Issac for designing these high performance fog machines buddy! :)

Hey guys!
Just AWESOME!! I'm so glad you guys are really liking them! I just signed in for the first time in a while and have 28 notifications  I don't know if they're all PM's, but rest assured I'll get good replies going for you guys. The place is still a mess over here with a billion and five things to do that Really need doing, but have faith as it's cleaning up quickly. These "server' cart issues are really causing a serious blockage to the smooth motions.
So being on how thread is going...
What do you guys think? Which few should we go for?

I'll try #2 please.
Will there also be a Cannon-type drip tip in the future?
Well honestly, the io6 tips were supposed to be fashioned like this

BUT it's acrylic structure would be thinned out so far that they risk the chances of breakage. I don't see these or the numbered above (post 530) being a problem for the Cannon. :)
