If I ever meet Isaac, I'm not sure if I'll kiss him or kill him. Four times in the past year I've thought that I had finally found my perfect set up for vaping and each time Isaac had to go and make something even better. I keep thinking it can't be done, but somehow he keeps doing it. And this time he's really out done himself. After finding Ikenvape cartos, I "knew' I would never go back to atomizers again. Well, after reading about the iO6, I decided to order a couple with my latest carto order. I've been using one for 8 hours now and I still can't believe how great these are. Just last night I was telling another vaper at the bar that these LR SC cartos were the best thing available and after trying he agreed. I promised to give him a couple today, but now he's going to get 10 of them, and sorry, they're only second best now.

FWIW - IO6's on my Provari. I just started using these & the ProVari in early Dec. '11 and they've converted me from tanks to basically an exclusive dripper. I've got a couple 1.8 ohms that I haven't used yet.

#1 - 2.5 ohm heavily used for 7 weeks reads 2.4 ohms
#2 - 2.5 ohm well used for 4 weeks reads 2.4 ohms
#3 - 2.5 ohm lightly used 2 days reads 2.5 ohms
#4 - 3.5 ohm mild use 6 weeks reads 3.5 ohms

Usage 'terms' are obviously subjective, to give some relativity to them, I'm a heavy vapor, the PV is rarely not in my mouth  Most of my nicquids are 70/30 PG/VG, and I mostly vape at 4.1 volts with the "2.4 ohm attys".

What is the provari doing to IO6s? and a few other for that matter??? This is something to be looked into. I don't have a Provari so I can't say but none of my atties behave like what has been reported. There is definitely something going on and I would like to hear an explanation as well.
I didn't think my Provari would work with a 1.5 Ohm atty, but this morning it is metering at 1.5, and I am at 3.4 voltage and no E2 error messages, just the best vapor.

I can't say enough how much better I like the i06 with an empire drip shield!! I just hit it w/o the shield for the first time in a few weeks...not bad but not as good as with the shield!!

hmm, just with the shield, and a d/t?

i was using the inverted beige (flesh colored) cap with a 510 d/t, and it started showing signs of melting (with a 1.5 LR at that)... so I'm back to the Pyrex d/t which is a little airy because it doesn't quite fit snug, but we'll see how it goes.

black delrin dt from iken, the swirl ones dont fit iinside shield. shield tightens draw and produces thicker, tastier vapor imo

if you are gonna get one make sure youu get the 510-510 adapter so the shield will fit!

sounds good; i have concluded the i06 pyrex d/t is too airy; ymmv as they are not all the same, but this one leaves air coming in around the base, and some like airy draw.

i have the empire and a bunch of d/t's ... will check it out.

Lets start over... what do you have on the i06? the beige cap? or anything? and you put the shield over that?
I find my Empire shield is too wide for the i06 barrel alone.
