Listen to Kwalka , really , he is a bucket of knowledge and experience. Ive learned so much from him. The COV silica is great, except that sometimes its not always available, so next best , for me at least is the one I just mentioned Jelly. All these different choices are there depending on how you vape.
But if you like to experiment, go ahead and try all the options. There is something out there that one person loves and an equal that will come out and say the dont. For me silica works great, Others swear by cotton or bamboo yarn . Im a very heavy vapor and need something that holds up under tougher conditions. But if you use high voltage/wattage with LR then you might need the Nextel.

You could start selling ready wires in the classiieds

You must register as a supplier to sell on ECF. Once u reg, you lose access to classys and coops. :2c:

I must have a few of these. (Wire capacitors) Find out about a bulk buy co-op type of situation. Everyone that owns an Ody, term, naut... Will want one. Ask about 100 and 200 units. I will be all over that co-op.

I have a disposable camera on the way...had the wife pick one up while grocery shopping...gonna give this a shot tonight.

I got an email back from him...68€ plus 8€ shipping is what he is asking for a completed unit.

Since I use 32awg and 30awg kanthal, and 30g silver NR....I don't need all of the extra settings. Should be able to copy what was done in the other thread with the camera and have one that will do the same for about $15. Lets hope....lol

in4mat,

Your going to be using this in the Oddy clone? I think we have enough time on the coop to grab some of this if indeed the 3mm is the best size and by the rave reviews doolak's is the one to get :)

Thanks!

I am going to be using this stuff wherever silica wick may call me... I have been using it tonight in a Fatty V2 and all I can say is wow....I love this stuff!!

To answer your question, yes... I had bought it with the intention of using it in the oddy clone.... doolak rocks and this strange looking silica does too!

This is more or less my plan as well.

I'm going to try ultra cheap first though and see if they have any at Walmart in the photo lab going out for recycle.

I have no doubt that 68 euro unit is really well built, and more likely overbuilt, but it doesn't make much sense to me to spend that kind of coin ($100) for it and have to wait for it to get here if we can make one for ourselves that will do the job.

My wife came back empty handed....so tomorrow I will be making a run to to Walgreens to see if they have any spent cameras left from the holidays that have already been processed.....might be able to get a free wire welder out of it! :D

Well...maybe not totally free, but close enough! The box and gator clips shouldn't cost too much....already have the wire I need and plenty of solder.
