Well, here I sit vaping some JC at 3.7 volts in my Prodigy using a protected 18650 battery that I've been using since yesterday afternoon. This has turned out to be my "sweet spot." I simply did not like vaping the juices I prefer at 5 volts, and 3.7 volts has done wonders for atty life, too.

Steve, do what you need to do to survive. I thought that the Prodigy was a bit expensive when I bought it, but it's still on top of all the other mods I see out there, IMHO, by the sheer elegance (and low parts count) of its design. The Prodigy was worth it by itself, not to mention the support that I've gotten from you and Casey.

I don't need a Protege. The Prodigy is sufficient for me, but I did wonder a little how you were going to sell the Protege for less than $100 when the design is so similar to the Prodigy. I thought you might get some savings from using parts from the pass-through, but if your number-crunching reveals that same expense applies to the Protege as well as the pass-through, so be it.

I don't think that $115 for the Protege as a full kit is bad at all, and I still may be ordering a pass-through at $69.99.

Now that fellow in Greece is re-manufacturing attys. I can't wait to see how that turns out.

I was one of the first 50 individuals to order the Protege and it is worth every penny at the higher price IMHO. I vape with a 901 and compared to the cheap Chinese 901's that need to be re-charged constantly, quit working, lose power rapidly, etc., there is no comparison.

I had a 35 year love/hate relationship with analogs. Vaping gave me a way to give them up for good, just like many others here. The Protege, with the consistancy of the power, has provided me with a way to vape zero nic and still be satisfied. That was not possible for me with the cheap Chinese batts.

I am off analogs and (thanks to the Protege) off nicotine and I can still get the satisfaction I had while smoking - to me that is priceless.

The Protege is a quality product produced by a quality company that is owned and operated by quality individuals. This country needs more like them.

Hi Steve, So sorry this is happening, you must be totally stressed. But
no worries here. I am so thrilled with Puresmoker. I have the Prodigy, pt and just got the Protege for my mom. I cannot imagine ever using any other pv!! My Prodigy is my main vape and the one I use the most.

For me, buying US made is important but more important is the quality of product you offer.

The price increase will not deter me from buying from Puresmoker at all. In fact, I would love to have a stainless Prodigy. I just cant imagine being without my Puresmoker products. :)

Actually
i don't mind higher prices, if it means better service and organization. Maybe someone to help out Casey for example.
I have an order still open since August, for switches and adapters.
You must have some how ordered when they were out of stock if you have been waiting that long.

Huh? There are no open orders prior to 9/4. Sorry Quo, looks like that order never came through.

If your selling an exeptional product and you believe its worth the price, and you back it up with super customer service,It works. You have a great custumer following and they will spread the word.

I couldn't have said it better myself! I would much rather pay a little more and have a quality product + great customer service. It's hard to come by these days. Do what you have to do, we'll stand behind you!

LOVE MY PROTEGE!!!

As of 4:01PM today I am a PS customer. Been a fan since mid-May. Your site is literally the second or third site I came across when I started researching. At the time you were between products except possibly the passthrough. I was still impressed enough with the site to bookmark it.

Since then, I have heard nothing but good about you or your products. But they didn't seem to fit MY needs. Still not quite ready to graduate to higher voltages and a third to half of my vaping is done with an auto 901 hanging from my mouth.

Didn't know of the Protege or that it was 3.7 volts or so small until I ran across recent reviews by Lucky and Fitz. Had decided to eventually get one, but was putting it off. Price was not really an issue, but I just had spent quite a chunk on juice and other stuff stocking up for a possible ban.

So...today I run across this thread. After the first few pages I decided to order the Protege today to beat the price increase. Would I have ordered it at the higher price? Yep! But I would have kicked myself for missing the lower price. Will I get a Prodigy or a Passthrough at the higher price? Maybe eventually. But if I don't it will NOT be because of the price.

From all I have read or seen (from people whose opinion I trust), your products offer the best VALUE in their category. The actual price may hold some off for a while. Others may never pay it. Their loss. You have to stay in business for the rest of us that depend upon you. (And from what I hear Casey deserves a raise! LOL)

You should probably cancel that order since your prodigies are "sitting in a florida landfill"

Steve...
I know it's been said before, but buying a product that is built in the U.SA. is getting harder and harder to do. For that reason alone, I could stick with your products. But it's more than that. I'll go out of my way to give my business to somebody that I know cares about me as a consumer. Whenever I've had a question, request, or whatever, Casey or you have been right there to handle it. Not to run away and hide, but to make things right, then and there. (Not like a few other suppliers I could name) IMHO, that's the true value of a supplier. So what if we have to pay a bit more. I know what I'm getting, and I'm paying for the fact that I'm not going to have problems on top of my problems! Thanks for your commitment to the vaping community!
