I love these turbines, but they have a problem with the silicone ring that insulates the center pin connector. I am unable to tighten the turbine all the way as the pin gets pushed in to far and loses connection with the battery. So I'm happily vaping with a wobbly Turbine but it's starting to get annoying. One of the silicone rings has broken due to being tightened properly on my Epower with a 510 extender. I really hope there is a fix in the works for these. Maybe I can epoxy that pin in place for a temporary fix.

I also have realized that VERY thin juices work best. I've added water to my liquids and the vapor is superb with non-stop chain vaping. Too thick and it has a tendency to burn.

Well I got my Replacement turbine in the mail today, blew her out and filled it up and it definitely puts out a huge cloud of vapor. Before I put in a review however I am going to wait a few and see if the factory taste vanishes with time. I am sure it will, I never ever expect any kind of tank system to taste perfect the first couple of days.

Thanks again and great customer Service Bad, you Da Man!!!

I got my Turbines and a nice headache yesterday. These have got to be the worst carto I have ever used. They taste horrible (unless you like burnt plastic) they have very little vapor and are extremely poorly constructed. You should be ashamed of yourselves for taking peoples money for these. That's twice now that you have gotten my money for junk and it is the last time. They did give me an instant headache though.

It looks like my Turbine shipped yesterday. Here's hoping it arrives this weekend. This will be my first (I think) "tank" system. Any advice before I load it with juice and start chain vaping?

Thanks.

One Piece of advice Cosprings and that is to take out the tank, and blow out the atomizer to get out as much excess primer as you can, now the primer in this one is different then in the eGo-T system as it does not tste horrible, I believe it is just Propylene Glycol or Vegetable Glycerin as it tastes very mild. After this do a quick wipe down with a paper towel very carefully on the inside though so as not to damage anything. Just to get any droplets out that are lingering.

After all of this go ahead and fill the tank, I recommend using a syringe if you have one as there is no cap on it. Then make sure when you put it back in you line it up with the cross member by the spike in the atty. This will allow for maximum airflow. Take a couple of primer puffs without holding down the button. Then try a short draw on it. If it tastes funky or burnt then let it sit on end for about 5 or ten minutes to allow for your juice to wick into the atty. Now keep in mind there may be a break in period for these to "Season" the wick, allowing it to fully saturate with the juice of choice. After this break in period then it should work like clockwork, and if it does not work contact Bad Kolo as he will take great care of you.

Hope this helps you out;

I'm sorry you feel that way... I just got my order of vortex and turbine in the mail at noon and not a problem since except for a lil leak that was totally my error. Once i started using the turbine at first there was little vapor I will say that but after about a hour of breaking it in its working like a champ. People might think my opinion is biased because I spend most of my time on the GV threads but i buy from other vendors such as ikenvape and Libertyflights as well, I like vaping products all over but I will say though I probably wont use the turbine as much as ce2s or vortex It works like a champ for me at least

first impressions review:

Generally good review but it illustrates some points I'd like to emphasize:

  • Its not a bad idea to wash out your tank when you first receive to get rid of any 'new' factory stamped plastic taste
  • Even though the primer in these is not nearly as offensive as most tankopmizer and ego-t setups its still a good Idea to blow out the primber before you then...
  • Drop 3 to 4 drops of whatever you are vaping into the atty before you you start using, after you have filled your tank.
  • If you start running into some dry hits simply lift the tank out of the atomizer about 8-10 mm and reseat it before you then give it a good flick to start things flowing again a little better.

some people truly amuse me. anyway back to reality, lovin my turbine

LOL @ Badkolo :D:D Ya Know, this thing is seasoning up right nicely. Now and again if I chainvape too much it gives me a Truly Nasty wake up call LOL Major Burnt taste.

However, that being said I believe this to be a good thing as it reminds me to slow down and enjoy the ride :D

Great Product Bad, truly great product so far. Took about three hours to get evened out on taste.

yes it does take a little break in period to start cranking, but overall it blows away other tanks in its caliber(for now), for me personally.

Also wash the tank before use, its plastic, wash it off and the taste is cleaner. You can also prime the atty a little by blowing out any primer (usually not much there), then add a few drop to the atomizer directly, and cook it a little, press button a few seconds, then stop, then press, then stop etc... . then add 2 more drops and add the fresh tank of juice and get it started.

The ohms can vary as with many products, rarely do you see every atomizer exactly the same ohm, so while most are 2.1, some might be 2.0 or some might be 2.3, so try both 3.2 volts and 3.7 to see which is best for you vape wise.

also if you like to back to back vape more often, lift the tank up after many back to back vapes and reseat it, this flushes more juice into it and its ready to go again for a hard session but dont forget these are low ohm and the atomizer does get hot. As with many atomizers the actual instructions are to let it rest for 10 seconds inbetweem drags as to let the atomizer wick soak up juice.

devon im glad to see your liking it as much as many of us do. its a keeper.

The factory did mention that If you leave the tank full in the atomizer upright overnight it can build juice in the casing by the connector, so you can leave it off when not using it or just remeber to wipe off any excess fluid after a long period of not using it

Well I know where you can get some. These things are 200% horrible. If I got even a hint of something I wouldn't post such as I did. I've tried it 3 or 4 times throughout the day and they are terrible. I did find one good thing about them and that is I could get my juice back out of them easily.

Ya know you might want to give it a day or two as referenced in my post right below yours above. I know that for the first three hours mine was completely Horrid and Vial in every way. However after leaving it standing up for a while and continuing to fight through the Nastiness that I was getting every other puff it is perfect now. I still think you should give it a chance because mine is now an awesome vaping machine.

Sad to hear that is your experience with them, thank god the majority of people are having a opposite experience and are having a blast with them.

Honestly, I still think it has to have that "Break In Period" just like the many hundreds of different atty's and cartos out there do. Other than the Go Go I have not yet found a PV that did not need a little breaking in period to work flawlessly, the Turbine is no exception, but now that it is breaking in it is getting better and better with every passing draw.
