Okay I bagged it up in a ziplock, I believe I discovered what the problem with it was and you are absolutely right, it must have gotten bumped in shipping because the battery connector post fell out in my hand when I removed it from the battery. I have it in a small ziplock baggy and just need further instructions from here.

An update.

Thank you, Bad, for all your help and the video. I washed my atty with boiling water, rinsed out with some vodka, did a dry burn till I saw the coil glow orange and I also rinsed the tank clean. Good news--it works. No nasty taste; I think I got some of that Chinese WD-40 in mine. :facepalm:

I got one dry hit after I started, but that was it. Very nice vape. I think that aligning that straight part of the tank on the open side of the atty makes a difference.

Nice unit. Maybe wicking and airflow could be improved in the future models a bit? To avoid dry hits? Other than that, no complaints. :)

Good to hear Katya...on the airflow if you encounter any issues back the threads off slightly. We will speak with the factory about enlarging those vent allowances...

And Good Point on optimal alignment. For some people it may be common practice to check on this and for others they are thinking, pop it in and vape. BUT for optimal experience and draw ALIGN the 'straight' part, the 90 degree cut on sides of tank with the open area on the sides of the atty...

If you don't do this there might of course be some air flow issues...I will try to post some close up pictures later about this.

To All Reading this thread;

UNBELIEVABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS WHAT YOU WILL GET FROM GOT VAPES!!! :thumbs: :thumbs: :thumbs: Way Up to Bad and his crew. Even though I got a DOA turbine today they were so very helpful and fast as lightening to get me on the road to getting a new one to replace it.

I got my Turbine today and Iv'e been trying to get it to work for over an hour, but all I'm getting is this burnt WD-40 flavor.

The atomizer is clearly working as I'm getting some vapor, but I can't really taste my juice at all. Just this bad taste/odor, like under the hood of your car on a very hot day. Why is this happening?

I'm familiar with the tank system, I've been using eGo-t (type A and B and LR) since January.

I tried to blow out the primer, but nothing came out, just like in the video above. So what am I doing wrong?

Ditto for me as well. I'm going to see if others have further advice.

that is very odd, we tried 30 here and not one leaked, we will ask the factory if there was anything wrong with any cartidge tanks becuase that has not happened to anyones we tested.

I doublechecked the juice I was using in it, 50%/50% 30mg thinking maybe that's why the leak issue, but after watching the new video, I understand it's worked successfully with this blend. I'm going to give it another go today, and I'll try out my 2nd atomizer to make sure it works as well. Really love the whole concept, and will keep trying to figure out the problem. I'm using it on an ego passthrough, and the air vent holes seem to be okay. Will also doublecheck my alignment of cart/atomizer to make sure I'm aligning it properly.

Finally success!! Tried one of the spare tanks I received instead of the one that was in the atty. Filled with 2 ml of 50/50, tried to line it up like Bad's video suggested but it seemed loose so I just put it in so it felt snug, Vaped the tank nearly dry with a only a small amount of leakage at the battery end and I think I caused that by inadvertently loosening the tank. I did find that if I made sure I vaped with the "fat" part of the mouthpiece against my bottom lip I never got juice in my mouth like I had before. I think that it is key to it not drawing juice into the mouthpiece and also flooding the atty because it keeps the vent on the tank on top when you're vaping. Couldn't be happier right now. Glad I didn't give up on this.

Well day 2 and tank ill number three and no issues at all. I love these. They are just what I have been looking for. I hope everyone has as much success as I have. I always wash my tanks before I fill them the first time in hot water and alittle dawn dish soap and a drop of bleach it takes away the new taste of the the plastic. Kinda like if you buy plastic drinking glasses the new plastic smell in them.

Definitely making progress ... blew out the atty really well (lots of excess juice came out), washed out the cart under real hot water and made sure was totally clean/dry. Filled with a different 50/50 mix juice about 1/2 full ... carefully aligned ... no leaking so far (been over an hour now). THANKS TO RICHHAM3 re: vaping with "fat" side of cart against lower lip ... was vaping the other way and now no juice in mouth (might want to add that to next video for us vaping-challenged folks). I still need to try 2nd atomizer, but really pleased at the moment. Some hits seem dry, but absolutely no bad taste.
