Update: Been vaping the original one that was having really bad dry hit's in the beginning exclusively for the last few days now. After about the fourth tank or so everything turned around with it, it's been performing flawlessly and just keeps getting better. The vapor is about on par with my modded CE2's but the flavor is what's kept me hooked. My CE2 tastes flat in comparison to the turbine now. I think there is still an issue of air lock that the manufacturer could improve but it's a minor issue easily worked around with a quick re-seat. I did manage to flood it once but that was my dumb fault for not seating the tank fully. I retract my initial fail as I am sold and will be ordering more shortly. Biggest problem I see with it is that I now have a bag full of CE2's that will probably never be touched. Oh well, their are worse problems to have than that.

Excellent! I'm already beginning to formulate another shopping list. I think the guys need to take that bullet point off of their cards that say vaping costs less than cigs

I agree totally!! Suuuure it's cheaper than smoking analogs.....Back in the day I only had one choice as to analogs, Basic Light Menthols. Now with the mods, the juice, the batteries, the cartos, attys, will this madness never end? Hope not.

Question for ya whilst I wait for my replacement, has anyone tried standing the battery up vertical with the turbine on? Just curios because the standard eGo-T's tend to leak when you do that.

I leave my standing on end all of the time and other than one leaking issue that was my fault I have not had the slightest problem with that.

great post dan but at the same time I do take offence when i hear things like, FAIL or worst failure in vaping history.

i looked around ecf and all i see is people having issues with almost every carto or new atty device out there [snip]

badkolo,
I agree...there are obviously some folks who just don't like it that the GotVapes crew goes out on a limb and orders stuff that is still sometimes in early phases of development. They take the risks of offering something 'new and different' and put it through the ropes with average consumers. Gotvapes also puts a good bit of effort into getting the word out...making videos, buying server space and bandwidth to let people KNOW the products exist, etc...

There are also a few that don't like or understand the concept of 'store branding' for PV stuff, but have no problem with buying 'Craftsmen' or 'Kenmore' or other store brands for other kinds of products. If Sears can pick out a few choice models of things and put their store brand on it...and have a major stake in how that model develops and is marketed, then why not a PV store too? And it is no false claim that Sears plays a major role in making any model it puts the Craftsman or Kenmore brand on...the model becomes their baby! No different with Gotvapes store branding some items like Fluxomizers...it's a perfectly logical business model that is not new, and is tried and tested in many industries, for both marketing and quality control.

Hey, I still remember my first Color TV...it was VERY EXPENSIVE, and broke down all the time...a TV repair guy came around once a month to put in expensive tubes plus hit me with labor charges. My first LCD TV was also very expensive, and pixels burned out after only a few weeks! True, I could have waited....as now you can get a color LCD TV for a song and a dance...that is tough as nails, but I chose to buy into those technologies when they were still new, problematic, and expensive. NO one forced me to do that.

With all that in mind....
If you do get something from Gotvapes that obviously isn't working as it should within a few minutes...pack it up, enclose a written testimony, and send it back! At this point, they can actually study the thing and duplicate your experience. Unless you have something to hide (such as, it really does work, but you just don't 'like it', or you just want something else for free and get to 'keep the bad one')...you WILL be fairly compensated. Trying to do customer service via emails can be difficult...and sometimes people (both customer and merchant) are just distracted, or having a 'bad day'. Once we hit 'send', there's no turning back! The old way...with paper and the product in front of them...lets them think things through and neither customer or clerk gets in a pickle with words.

In contrast, if you rip it apart and try to mod it...that's all fine (I do this...but I don't expect a refund or replacement when I do). At the point we take it apart or mod it somehow, it makes it very difficult for them to replace it or refund your money.

That's pretty standard policy and procedure for any retail shop. To do much more, they either have to jack prices across the board for everyone...or sell 'extended warranties' and such as that. With items that cost under $15 in the first place...how many people would go there? Not many!

My only beef with GotVapes is that they sometimes can't keep it all in stock it sells so fast :) And to be fair, that's not all their fault...you can only stock what you can afford to stock...plus the suppliers can't always get as much as you want to you as quickly as we'd all like, and if the product is still being revised along the way...it's probably wiser to stock smaller batches anyway.

I think it's great that GotVapes has committed to things they sell enough to actually put store brands on them! It means...sink or swim...they went all out to try their best to bring us a better vaping experience for a fair price.

So what are you trying to say????? can you repeat that I missed it!!!!!! Obviously just kidding. I completely agree and thanks for defending Gotvapes. As part of the GotVapes family I take it very personaly when people attack them. I should not ....... I have no stake in their business. But I do. LONG before I was actually a customer they would take time from their day to answer my noob questions. Anyway thank you Credo.

I am not gonna quote it because it is like many of my detailed reviews or instructional posts.... EXTREMELY LONG! LOL :p, but Great Job on that Credo. I agree, the business they are in is a hard one to manage on a good day. Being a thorn or a pill about a problem you are having does not make that job any easier. There are literally thousands of customers to satisfy and although a person may be "THE ONE AND ONLY CENTER OF THE WORLD" in their own mind, it does not make it so. Yes, I wish I had gotten a working product, I did not, I returned it and my new one will be here when it gets here and I will give it a try and write an honest review on it just like I do everything else I test out or give a try.

Great Company and Admirable patience with us Picky Little Vaping Geeks  up to GotVapes

Credo very well said and I couldn't agree more. I really think that there are some people that you can never please no matter what you do. I love trying new stuff. I am so glad I got the Turbine. I love it. All my Ego tanks will take a backseat to the Turbine. I just hope there are some left Thursday for me :)

I have always adopted the philosophy that "If it Looks Like a Duck, It Quacks Like a Duck, It Fly's Like a Duck and it Swims Like a Duck...... It Must be ..... AN ORANGUTAN IN DISGUISE!!!!!!!!" LOL no actually if it does all these things it must be a DUCK! :D
