The FDA can't approve it. Pharmaceutical companies and tobacco companies would lose money....jobs etc...our economy can't afford it...so they won't approve it. An unfortunate situation but IMO thats the way it is
i feel it's a touchy subject, i love vaping and feel a huge benefit is being able to do it where there's no smoking but i also totally agree with wanting the FDA to approve it so use discretion up until this approval gets passed.
Hogwash? Well then I suggest you blow that smoke towards a newborn since "Hey there are no studies of secondhand smoke" Harmless it must be..And while your at it make sure to vap also in the same manner. Its soooo safe right? So get right on that and I stand corrected! If there is even a small question of possible second hand problems to others then it should be an instant ban from bars etc, other peoples safety is more important then your comfort, sorry thanks
Not trying to argue but since there are no definitive studies as you suggest let me ask you even if there was no coughing involved with smoking would you even smoke in the same room with a newborn? Hogwash or not its just common sense. Kids go out to eat and so do babies and to say something that has been around for what 5 or at most 10 yrs has nicotine and the like and is safe is an assumption. Until people are using these for 30 yrs you wont really ever know of the long term effects, so if there is the slightest chance that they could have a negative effect on others, then sorry you need to go outside. Like I said your comfort comes second to others safety period. If thats hogwash then oink oink

there's a difference between being open about it and being obnixious. if management asks u to stop - u stop but do try to educate them on the subject (it's the only way we'll see progress)I agree, I stealth vape where you aren't allowed to smoke and no one ever notices. If you're obnoxious about it it's just going to give vaping a bad name.
BTW if there should be an instant ban on things that could jeopardize the safety of others, then no one should be permitted to wear perfume in public because it triggers asthma attacks in some people. Since asthma can be life threatening, it should also be banned, correct?
the whole ecig issues is one Fox News story away from being banned because, 'it's so bad, the FDA won't even rate it a tobacco product'!. Really, think about it.
And sad as it seems the big tobacco companies are going to get on board with the ban, fearing what may happen if Ecigs take off. That or big tobacco will start manufacturing their own vapes, a more likely scenario.
not only that they could become a better supplier for nic - wouldn't change their operation much either - i think they already supply for BP. add a few more workers and there ya go. instant profitsFor the life of me I don't understand why big tobacco hasn't jumped on board the e-cig bandwagon. Today their respect level is lower than a politician and with all the bans and negative press it is only going to get worse for them.
I know..I know its the money. But it seems to me that they could make up some of their future losses by adding e-cigs to their line up.
That was good input, and the bottom line stands. You are right I should have speeeeeeeellllllllled better since your answer is typical of someone who cant make a reply to answer my question. And about the perfume sure ban it I could care less so I answered your question and youve yet to answer mine? Blow it in newborns faces or not? well? Im waiting?Honestly though, I like debating lol, I dont even have to believe what Im ranting about
But if an orginization brought this up what would be the answer? Then if the answer was absolutely not, then why shouldnt non smoking/vaping adults have the same right?
