With nothing left to lose on these, I dry burned it to heck (4.5 minutes! pretty hefty, but not recommended) and it still tasted burnt. I then tried adjusting the wick with a pin and the whole wick popped out. I inserted a small stub of PTB into the wick hole and put the tank on and WOW! TONS of vapor and perfect flavor. No leaks after 24 hours. I'll try another batch of these to see if the ones I got were just duds, but with one minor mod I can chain vape to my heart's content. I'm going to buy more to see if this mod is a fluke or whether it really unleashes the potential of these for chain vapers like myself.

great post dan but at the same time I do take offence when i hear things like, FAIL or worst failure in vaping history.

i looked around ecf and all i see is people having issues with almost every carto or new atty device out there yet they still buy those, i see people complaining about the ego-t and there is 100 mod videos to try to get it to work properly, but we introduce a new device and when it happens to not work for a few people it all of the sudden becomes the worst device ever made, the other 200 people that sent us thank you letters seem to think its a great product. So while im not doubting some people are having issues I do find it wierd that with all the other devices out there now that are popular and barely work those get a pass while obviously on video the TURBINE works, I still havent seen a video of anyone back to back vaping a ego-t yet succesfully.

the wierder thing is the ones with popping turbines causing mods to die all seem to come from experienced vapors, yet others are working just fine for 5 days now for a butload of people including tons of newbs. 22 turbines here on 6 different types of mods, not one issue yet except for a popped turbine which i caused by taking it to the limit on its third dry burn. This isnt to say that some don't have issues as it does seem some may be doa and we will honor those. This can happen for a number of reasons and we are looking into the cause. Some may have performance issues, some of those are do to not using the unit properly and for those people We hope that the videos or tips in the thread can get you passed those and there will always be some people who simply have a unit that isnt working properly just like any other product on the market. SO we fully understand this.

BY THE WAY from this point on I will delete posts that start off with "" this is fail"" or anything pertaining to how the turbine is the worst thing ever made( take that nonsense to another vendor) or how bad it sucks, because they have been tested and we will keep stocking these and if there are issues we will do what we can to work them out with the factory but we will not tolerate the rudeness.

I made videos of how they perform(videos dont lie), all of a sudden the majority of those complaints just stopped , so now it seems certain people will try to find other issue since they cant say it doesnt perform, This doesnt pertain to all our great customers but to a very select few people. IT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED ANY FURTHER

MANY ON ECF attempted these tactics with the ce2 and while they had issues at start many realized how great they where and how they could become once the issues where worked out and look at them now, unstoppable and loved by so many.

I'm sorry, I didn't see this posting...My bad. Should've chosen a better wording. My apologies.

I'm reordering and will look into this method. Not the loooooong dry burn but the PTB (already popped an addy). Any particular brand of tea bag to use? I've never actually used that mod.

Lipton Pyramid Tea. It's the only one I know of that works for e-cig mods.

And no to the long dry burn. Bad idea. I was just curious.

Sooooo, moving forward;

As I detailed in my previous post that was deleted, I have tried *everything* I can think of to make my Turbine function but have yet to get it to wick juice down to the coil. Here's the story...

Upon receipt:
-Removed tank from atty.
-Blew out factory primer.
-Loaded a 3ml syringe with my usual, VB Watermelon 50/50@24mg. Installed CE2 filler tip.
-Used syringe to re-prime using my juice: made sure to lubricate both the wick material *and* place a couple drops into the space where the coil resides via the small gaps next to the spike plate.
-Filled the cartridge using the remainder of the syringe, leaving a generous amount of space for an air bubble as per lessons learned from the T-systems.
-Installed cartridge and proceeded to vape.

Other than blowing out the primer and re-priming with the good stuff, I'm certain that I prepared everything just as these items should have been. Once the primed juice was vaped out, the atty started acting dry and giving a bad taste. Here's my next step from this point:

-Remove cartridge.
-Using very fine needle-point tweezers, I readjusted the wick, pushing it ~.5mm down into the tube as to ensure contact of the wick with the coil and surrounding wick fragments.
-Re-prime w/same juice
-Reinstall cart and attempt again.

Results: same as before. Once my "primer" was expended, dry vape resulted. Next step:

-Remove cartridge.
-Grab 2nd blank, load with a much thinner juice. VaporRenu Black Cherry, 80/20@16mg.
-Re-prime atty using new juice, same mannerism.
-Reinstall cart and attempt again.

Result: same issue.

From this point, experimentation ensues: I've tried all of the following:

-Using different eGo and even 510 batts with different-sized airflow notches and charge levels.
-Removing spike plate and installing a section of wick from a CE2-X.
-Adjusting wick height.
-Filling tank half-full.

Still, I just can't get it to wick. If anyone here knows what I'm doing wrong, or can tell me what it is that I could have done differently in the first place, I would greatly appreciate it. As I stated before, I really want this thing to work for me, especially since I love the mouthpiece design!!!

Thanks a bunch!!! :)

Ok good- thanks for the thorough walk-thru:

When you insert your tank pay particular attention to the airflow column in your tank and line it up over the air allowances inside the atty (not sure if you did that, just saying).

When you hit dry after your prime is vaped, try lifting the tank out a bit and reinserting it into the atomizer, flick it a bit to get your juice flowing. Is this a particularly thick juice by the way? I know you say it is 50/50 but there are juices that are predominantly PG but still thick.

Also this is a 2.1ohm rated atomizer, not sure what PV you are using? If I missed that, sorry.

edit: Ok I see where you are saying you are using different ego's and 510's...

How is the flavor? How does it compare to what you were using?

I have vaped it fairly exlclusively today for about ten hours and I am halfway thru the 2nd tank. The flavor has been good no dry vapes or burnt taste at all, several times the vapor decreased for a hit or two and I reseated tank and shook it a couple of times and it began vaping normally. Twice it quit completely and i did the same thing and it started up again. If it contiues to work this good I will be happy with the purchase and I'm going to order another one. It works much better for me than the ego-t and better than the giantomizer in fact it is better so far than any of the other cartomizers I've tried except the Go-Go carto. It works good on my Ego and Riva batteries and that is what i wanted. I got the stainless and I really like the looks of it and the whistle tip is great. I am happy with it so far and hope it continues to work this good.

Just want to say I'm quite fond of these things. One follow up question... Do the empty tanks come with condoms? I'm thinking it might be handy to get a couple extras of those to store extra juice in for extended trips.

yes the extra tanks you can buy all have condoms on them. they also have a nipple that extends into the tank to seal it off. I pre-filled my carts and they didn't leak at all.
