What a nightmare! It sounds like you definitely got a bad one there. Are you allergic to PG based liquids? Do you always use VG bases?

Ok let's try something, start fresh, lets blow out the atty. Drip about 3 drops in to the DT, then give it a little 'pack' as if your 'packing' a pack of ciggs. Just tap it 3 times to send the juice forward.

I am allergic to PG!

Tried the packing deal and still no go. When I drip 3-4 drops directly onto the atomizer it works for two hits, then I get a dry hit.

I just tried it with some VG that I had laying around just to see it it was just me or the PG and still had the same deal, although the VG flavor came through on the first hit very solid which is typical of VG.

a little pg if possible is better imo; flavor, and fluidity...
the reason you are getting less vapor after a couple vapes might be because the juice is mainly on the top and vg will hang up there a bit.

PG was a bad idea, I am now itching all over!

I am dripping directly onto the atomizer.......

Just out of curiosity, how long have you been vaping for? I only ask because 2-3 weeks into vaping with no analogs my whole face broke with white spots, I got a cold, itching, etc. etc. and I was using 100% PG juices.

However, while it possible it was an immediate reaction to PG, or I somehow built up a tolerance to it (??) I attributed this to "cigarette detox", as a couple weeks later I was fine, and continued vaping PG for a few more months with zero issues.

I now vape 100% VG about 90% of the time, but only because I prefer the vapor and idea of VG over PG. Just some food for thought, not saying to go all out on PG, and not sure if you've been vaping for a while, but just thought I'd share that.

I have been vaping for almost 10 months, I started with PG and couldn't figure out why I was so itchy. After some trial and errors I started vaping VG with no problems. When I do vape PG I start itching, like for example today when I tried to see if it was the atomizer or me being the issue.

Oh alrighty then, sorry =/ There are some amazing 100% VG juices out there, for example Alien Visions E-Juice, and they are having a sale on Boba's Bounty and Gorilla Juice throughout this weekend, if you haven't tried them I highly recommend both flavors as that's all I vape.

I also use the io6 and love VG in it. I actually think it works better than PG in some cases. When I drip my PG juices I get less pulls per drip as it seems to dry out faster. *shrug* GL buddy, don't give up on the io6 though :) The one you got may have been a rare fluke.

IIRC they disable the payment system when they're putting orders on hold. Happened to me when I wanted to try gorilla juice.

OK, Im having the same problem as you with my I06.
When I first got it, I tested some new juices for a couple of days, and it was wonderful - just like my last one before Iken shut down.
I went to the cartos for about a week.
Just went back to the I06 and I am getting that dry throat hit taste/feeling like a 510 with a bad wick. I've overfilled it, blown it out, tried different juices, dripped without the tip, tried different tips, etc. - everything but wash it.

Does this mean it's bad? How could it be awesome testing out some flavors for a bit, but now just be a pain in my throat?

They had so many orders last night they shut down the payment system after half an hour! But the sale has a couple more days to go, it starts again at midnight CST. It's really a steal, $42 for 100mls! Try and get in if you're available at that time, I'm guessing tonight it will last a bit longer.

I've had this problem. For me, it had to do with improper priming. I think basically I overfilled it, and was dripping too much. It worked perfectly for about 2 redrips, then it just started to taste burnt. I chucked it and primed a new one more precisely and its doing great.

Folks need to listen, and feel for their atties. It may sound weirdbut just like babies they do talk to you, ya just need to understand the lingo. If it is too dry, one drop give a shot. If no go, give another drop etc... play with it. If it girgles instead of sizzle, it is flooded. If it wisps instead of sizzle it is too dry. It all comes together with time :)

However, if ya force it, it goes kaput.

How do I know when it's dying? For example, the last (and typical) worked great for 3 weeks + and a lot of joose, and for the last day with fresh drops I get one real flavorful hit then it hits like the last two hits on a new i06 as it's ready for more drops. It still produces good vapor, if not quite as much. Doesn't matter if I blow them out and reload.
I'm taking this as the little guy gave me what he's got and it time for a new one. Is that how they usually die ??

I gotta agree, the i06, when good is fantastic.
It may be tempermental... because I just kept playing with it, following the main rule of dripping, don't overdrip, and if you do, just work it out or blow it out, and keep trying.
One thing I've seen about the i06 is you can see the coil get red when it's ready for more juice.
I admit, you won't see it with the black delrin d/t but i usually take mine off to drip, so juice don't get hung up in the d/t. I fire it to see if its red.
BTW, i just got a Pyrex d/t and you can see the red right through it.
When it shows red, just drip...

I guess the "right amount" is when it's not gurgling, and when you can get quite a few vapes off it before redripping time.

Usually when you're getting dry hits, harsh, the coil is red and you need more juice to get the flavor right; obviously.
